Re: EDR Targetted Bonus Point Promotions (Now referred as the Claytons bonus)

I don't think anybody will be getting any direct bonus point offers till that that awful stickers promotion is over. This is so one of us doesn't find a loophole we could exploit for getting cheap points.

Re: EDR Targetted Bonus Point Promotions (Now referred as the Claytons bonus)

I got a $200 spend for 10 cents a litre off!! The algorithm must be putting me in the loaded category.

I'm wondering if they're pushing these fuel offers to coincide with school holidays and upcoming long weekend?

Guess nobody is surprised with what offer I got:

Spend at WOW

$50-$69: 6c off petrol
$70 to $99: 7c
$100+: 10c

Now I've only shopped once at WOW Petrol in the past 6 months (last fill) And our average spend is within those bands...however, considering we are off to FIji on Wed, this won't be used.

No offers for any of the other 3 cards.

They did that for me as well, was very surprised, but then they redeemed themselves.

Second offer was also for 10 cents a litre off fuel, but with no minimum spend at any store.

Happy
Birthday

Same as what I got last week. Happy birthday!

It was my birthday on friday. No pressie for me :(. So I celebrated by having a very large shop at coles this week.

This weeks family offers:

  • 6¢ for three select items.

  • $50:6¢, $70:7¢, $100:10¢

  • 8¢ for $20 fresh meat

Those fuel offers can be set to QFF points at 1[SUB]QFF[/SUB] per litre instead of a 2¢ per litre discount.

With a 40 litre fill at 8¢ per litre that's a choice between a $3.20 saving or 160[SUB]QFF[/SUB].

I have not shopped at any Woolworths, BWS (Only shopped there twice in the last 3 months because the lack of offers at BWS), BIG W in the last 2 weeks because of the really poor offers.

I wonder how long before marketing at the WW group realise their little experiment is not working?

Yes, all details are in. Not to fussed stil have a 15c and a couple of 8c before the end of the month

Well I filled up at WOW petrol yesterday, using the last of my 4c discounts on my card (to me, that's double points due to my selection of FF points instead of discounts).

Now I'll bet that whilst I'm away, EDR marketing realise they've driven us into the arms of Coles and resurrect some decent point offers.

I'll report on those that I lost.

Does that mean that for 10c a litre you get 5 points/L, etc.? Or do you still get standard double points even if you have a higher discount?

Okay, I did want to get some stationery (pads, pens, pencils, rulers, colouring stuff) for the local Fijian kids, so spent $64 this morning and still some things I want to get.

Glad to see this in the fine print:

The qualifying amount can be spent in one or more transactions

Another $5 for 3.5x FF points at the next fill, which thankfully mean the voucher will still be valid after we return from holidays.

plus I got the 34 points EDR plus 96 from Amex, so okay EDR, you got me this time...

Have the targetted bonus points emails dried up? :) I haven't received one for maybe 2 weeks?

Got one this week. Spend $70+ on fresh and get 10 cpl fuel discount. It's derisory and went straight into the bin.

Did get a 500 bonus points offer from Coles, so that's where I'm going this weekend.

It does seem that Woollies has lost their way on this. It's driving me to Coles, and I generally do find their refurbished stores to be nicer anyway.

yeah we got a 500 bonus points for $50 multiple use from flybuys too

and only fuel offers from WW, single use and large spends to get an appreciable discount

will watch for next week's offers, if any, with interest
