EDR tardy in posting bonus offer points?

I did mention my knowledge of large deposit, but it was lost on the CSA to whom I was talking....

Should I check my EDR account?

I thought I might have been tempting fate, because it was stilll under the stated 72 hour window. But I have just logged in and to my surprise, my EDR account front page showed the uplift of points. So checking the statement it shows that they did the following lines:

01/08/12
Woolworths Complimentary points offer
500
500
01/08/12

So they gave me 4,500 points.

Considering I was owed 5,500 points (and they had already given me 100 on 14/5, 400 on 29/6 and 400 on 11/7), under normal circumstances I don't think I would be bothered to chase the missing 100 points. However, it's a game now, so off I go back to them now.

Plus I have another 150 points from the 2 May Big W offer (pre-Mothers Day) for buying $20+ of chocs et al and I want them to pay. Time to get the WOW receipt and email to them.

Gosh I hope someone can guide me as to what to do in my situation with my EDRCC. I have done a couple of posts here with regards to the bonus points offered for applying and being accepted for the CC:

http://www.australianfrequentflyer....s/everyday-rewards-card-20-000-a-37484-7.html

I followed the recommendations in the thread. Had a couple of phone calls, which did not bode well for me, and was told point blank, would not get the 16,000 pts, even though I was accepted and met all the criteria and the offer is still running. Long story short, after emailing my case, I had a phone call last Friday saying I would receive the points. To be completely honest, when I received the call, I was resigned to hearing "stiff S*!T" and wasn't really paying attention when I was told, out of the goodness of their heart, they were going to credit me with the 16,000 points. I am fairly certain he said he was taking it directly to the "powers that be" and I should see the points in my account directly.

Well, no surprises, no points in my account a week later!

Do I phone or email now?

Well finally.....

Points posted. Only took 13 weeks, numerous phone calls & emails and several grey hairs.

Well done for staying the course robd. You have been rightfully rewarded...

+1 here. My two issues took a little longer, but the premise is the same - if they don't happen automatically, expect to have to fight tooth and nail for them.

Thanks for the support. I was following your case to see what the outcome would be.

I seriously almost gave up. They were wrong, I was right, but that didn't seem to make any difference to them.

As you stated "You have been rightly rewarded". As far as they are concerned, they are giving me the points out of the kindness of their hearts. Pish tosh!

Yes, I still have a bitter taste in my mouth.

Has anyone had any problems getting the bonus points promised in any of the "we miss you" offers? They usually have the subject line of "Shop with us again for X bonus points" with the body of the email along the lines of "Shop with us again soon". One of our family members received an email offer of 200 points for spending $50 at WW. The base points from the transaction appears in their EDR account but no bonus points have shown up. The family member sent in an email "contact us" form from the EDR account site two days ago but has received no response. Unfortunately it isn't practical for them to ring the call center.

A few AFF members reported receiving similar offers at the time so I was just wondering whether any of them have had any trouble getting the points. This is the second time the family member has had trouble getting bonus points credited.

The good news is that the points were added sometime in the last few hours. The notation was something like "Woolworths complimentary points offer" which means it was a manual entry. It looks like the "contact us" system is working at the moment, at least for some members.

Didn't get the "We miss you" offer, even though I was out of the country for a month, but the bonus meat promo was just posted yesterday (21/3) in my QFF account, and showed up on the 15th (EDR account). I think I bought the steaks about 2 and a bit weeks ago - this seems about normal, though sometimes take closer to a month.

I've noticed that points are showing in the EDR website for my transaction over the weekend, but the bonus points (150 pts for over $20 in meat offer runs to 23/04) and fuel offer (20c for over $160 spend runs to 21/04) aren't showing?

Is the time delay for bonus points to show in the EDR website or to post to QFF? My previous transactions show the bonus points appearing on the same line as the base points.

Bonus points can take up to a week after the last date of the offer period.

Standard T&C's are usually something like the following, special attention to 7 day period AFTER offer end date...

his offer has been selected especially for you, cardholder *************, and can be redeemed once. Please activate your offer before you shop and swipe your Everyday Rewards card or enter your card number at the time of purchase to qualify for your reward. The qualifying amount can be spent in one or as many transactions as you like. You'll find your reward in your Everyday Rewards account up to 7 days after the offer end date.

There are occasional bonus offers where the bonus points are added on the same day as the base points. Recently this was done on the double points offer and the Big W 100 point clothing offer. These are the exception rather than the rule.

If an offer ends on a Sunday, the points usually turn up in the EDR account by the following Sunday. If you are lucky they turn up on the Thursday after the offer ends. I've also known the fuel vouchers to turn up on a Thursday but this isn't always the case.

As for the QFF transfer, I've found that it takes 7-10 days for the points to be transferred from the EDR account to the QFF account. Of course I've also seen much quicker transfers and much longer transfers than this.

Thanks yep I think I was spoilt by the double points offer last week turning up almost instantly.

Just before Easter Woolworths had a targeted Hot Cross Buns promotion offering selected members 50 points for buying a packet of either 4,6 or 9 Hot Cross Buns.

I waited about a month after the promotion and no bonus points appeared.

I contacted Everyday Rewards and they credited 50 ponts to my account and apologised for the delay.

If anyone is still missing the bonus points I suggest you chase it up either by the call center or the Contact Us form.
