I just got this email from Cellarmasters:

Lucky Dip Penfolds Grange Mystery Mixes

...

I also got the email. I wonder how many cases there *are*. i.e. what the chance of getting the Grange is?

Not the one I got ;) - thanks to Cynicor.

okay, will have to work out how to her it to you - do you want to PM me your email address. Yes, smart pricing - can I but a cheap corkscrew?

Try using it, mine says Jan 31 despite it being issued a week before that date.

Hmmm, mine works markis10 because it is a 28 Feb expiry ;):

Sub Total: $179.82
Less Discount: -$50.00 (Voucher)

Goods Delivery Guarantee: $2.00
Freight: $11.90
Total: $143.72

I ended up getting a 6 pack of Moscato (3 x 2 bottles) which my wife likes (and I like on a hot day); along with the Penfolds lucky dip carton (reds only).

I didn't go the additional route supplied by Cynicor to extract further value...there's plenty of time for that (and I need to drink some of what I have bought!)

Dinner Party at my place ;)

Lucky you - might have to revisit things, hope you get a bottle of grange!

If you ask nicely perhaps you'll be rewarded:
No, I didn't get that one unfortunately. They must know there's a few vouchers out there as the min. spend on most (and I haven't double checked mine) is $120. May need to add the cheapest carton you can find to the mix.

Also, I still have a few vouchers with Late Feb expiry if anyone else wants one. If you'll allow me to refer you and purchase through the link emailed we will both also earn $20 wine bank cash.

PM me if you are interested.

I'm a little miffed I didn't do it over the weekend when I had an offer for free shipping as well :(

I think I worked out why my voucher had expired, I used it but did not complete checkout, but it looks like the system then cancels it regardless of the progress of the checkout!

Trick for future players to consider then. I did go backwards in my order (but deleted the voucher before I left the payment screen), as it wouldn't let me progress as I was trying to buy a non-wine purchase (wine racks). Evidently they aren't allowed to be used when trying to use one of the $50 vouchers (and I also had to get above $120 in wine purchases before the voucher became "live").

No non-wine purchases, need $120 min, cannot be used with another coupon so if the free delivery requres a code then you haven't missed out. My vouchers (2 or 3 left) are actually different to the other ones, so have feb expiry.

My latest purchases showed up at work - I'm sure my wife and staff think I'm an alcoholic now ;)

Now to keep you in suspense - will open the catron tonight when I get it home, to see if I have a Grange in there :D

Yes, it's taking all of my willpower not to rip open the lid now (just to find out, not to drink - it's too early)

I notice they have a sprinkling of Vasse Felix Whites now, hopefully they get some reds!

Alas, no Grange in mine :(

No points for me! After four weeks, I had not seen any points for this promotion, so gave them a "?" via email - supposedly a "glitch" and it would be attended to - so if anyone else has not been credited for Jan Cellermasters purchases, an email would be worth your while.

I complained to Cellarmasters, noted the person's name, and called EDR who told me Cellarmasters were entering the points manually and they'd follow it up. I gave them the name. A few days later the points appeared.

Re: EDR Targetted Bonus Point Promotions

The recent spend at three different brands was better, I got 500 points for a $12 spend, the dearest item being a bottle of wine at BWS, as there was no minimum spend requirement.

Looks like there is another EDR 1000 point cellarmasters offer and I got a buy macro offer.

Cellarmasters: Buy Wines Online, Red or White Wine, Mixed Dozen

For those that dont know where to look, here is the link for the $50 voucher, however minimum spend is $120 so can not be used on the above offer alone, another purchase would be required to get you over the $120...

Cellarmasters Online Vouchers

Cheers...

Re: EDR Targetted Bonus Point Promotions

...Looks like I'll have to drink some of my previous purchases, holding my EDR keyring, rolling them in my fingers chanting "my precious..."

As I'm not into FlyBuys looks like the wine offer is my only hope - but with 2 full wine fridges and an almost full wine rack, looks like a forlorn hope.

LW, I'm looking for some ideas on how to take up the $99/dzn + 1,000 QFF offer while using a $50 voucher as per the link I posted, so where is the value getting the minimum spend up to $120 where the $50 voucher can then be used...?

In my instance I need to spend a further $15 at celler masters to kick over the $120 trigger....problem is that there is nothing there for such a small amount

Not sure it is possible to use the $50 voucher with the 1,000 QFF offer unless you spend ~$159

Here is what I am thinking...

1x Mildara Sparkling Shiraz 6-pack (1x6)

1 x 12 Nz Sb For $99 (4x3) - This is the offer for $99 + 1,000 QFF)

Sub Total:
$158.94

Less Discount:
CEL************ (Voucher)

-$50.00

Goods Delivery Guarantee:
$2.00

Freight:
$11.90

Total:
$122.84

Seems an ok deal for everyday drinking I guess, the last offerings were quite good for the price paid IMHO... Sure its not flash wine, but more than acceptable for around $6 a bottle

With the above suggestion its $123 for 18 wines and if you put it all on your QEDRCC with the current 2x bonus, then it works out to around a total QFF earn of ~1325 QFF (9c a point and something to drink for 2.5 weeks)

I got the cheapest wine I could find and that I was prepared to drink - a 6 pack of dessert wine, so it essentially gave me them for free. Smart on their pricing cellarmasters

With the additional 0.5x bonus (EDRCC @ 2x v Amex @ 1.5x), it does give better value.
