EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Took my wife's card shopping today, spent $40 in Big W to collect 250 bonus + 10 for < $30 and 60 through CC.

Then went to Woolies to buy some urgent things + dinner and put on my sons EDR card, to see if we can't trigger his first offer in the next couple of weeks. $65 means 35 EDR points and 97 CC points.

Haven't checked the EDR accounts yet, to see if the Friday bonus points have posted.

Took my wifes EDR card petrol shopping tonight, since my Card (QEDRCC) has not had a fuel voucher on it for some time...! Standard fuel voucher converted into 2 pts per litre + the current promotion for 2 points per $ on the QEDRCC.

Ha Ha, the guy at the counter tried to explain that my QEDRCC in fact had a barcode on the back, and I don't need to carry around two cards, to which I replied have a look at the numbers, its not my card lol... its my wifes card since she does all the WOW spend..

I sort of know how you AMEX people out there feel when doing your shopping at WOW, scanning the back of your QEDRCC and then paying with amex for maximum earn...

I'm really playing the EDR / QFF game hard, upgrades a plenty with some left over savings for some nice J award flying...

Life is indeed good LW...

EDR helping funding our J & F addiction for our annual Intl trips - as well as my JASA seats domestically.

On my iPhone EDR I note that I have more fuel offers expired unused than I have taken - a direct response to the BP offer that has been running from early Oct 11. I'll be loading up on gift cards at 31 March which will give me prepaid fuel until the end of FY.

Then I'll be back for some FF points when I fill up.

We do love EDR shintaro10x ;)

hoping for the holy grail of EDR offers to hit our inbox shortly.... the best offer available IMHO spend $30 for 500 QFF, usually at either Woolworths / BWS Liquor or at the supermarket...!

I...can't...stay...awake...any...longer.

I expect a plethora of members citing their weekly offers here by the time I wake up :D

Hey LF.... FYI we really struggling to use all the shintaro clan EDR offers at the moment, dare I say it I am a little disinterested...

But some decent EDR offers can soon change this.... gives me the $hits that some of the offers they are currently handing out are for very large qualify spend...

And then there is Flybuys... not sure what model they are following, however plenty of 2x & 3x offers coming from them at the moment...! Is EDR losing the plot and there is finally some competition from Flybuys...?

The recent spend at three different brands was better, I got 500 points for a $12 spend, the dearest item being a bottle of wine at BWS, as there was no minimum spend requirement.

Looks like there is another EDR 1000 point cellarmasters offer and I got a buy macro offer.

This week
- buy four or more Macro products - 250 points (also 2 products/100 points & 3 products/150 points)
- buy four bottles of wine at BWS - 250 points

After a long period with nothing I received an offer of Double Points for spend over $30 at Woolworths (which will go nicely with the Double Points still in effect on the Everyday Rewards Credit Card).

I got offer of bonus points -50 points for spends of $50-$99,100 points for $100-$149 and 200 points for $150 or more.
Cheers

Well it would appear that most of the Shintaro clan are still being rewarded even though only one or two cards are really being used (scanned). Looks like another easy earning week by playing the right cards and using every trick in the book to obtain maximum value for $ spent and points earn, after all its about getting value out of what you purchase, just not spending X to earn Y...

The Plan...

  1. Regular weekly supermarket spend using another week of 3x QFF for every $ over the $30 qualify spend PLUS additional 2x QFF for every $ spend on QEDRCC (Current 2x promotion ends 18/3)
  2. Regular weekly Beer spend at Woolworths Liquor using the current in store promotion vouchers for $5 off TED's or $7 off Super Dry or $5 off James Boag Carton purchase, this will be used in combination with a targeted spend offer for QFF earn between $0.20 & $0.44 per point (or 6c / 8c / 10c Fuel discount which would be converted to points using approx 120L for a two car fill) PLUS the 2x per $ for the spend on QEDRCC (same as above)
  3. Regular weekly wine spend at BWS using both the 250 QFF for purchase of 4 bottles of wine + the 2x QFF per $ spend on the QEDRCC.
  4. Cellarmasters offer... Now this looks intresting, wine looks better than previous offerings but at a slightly higher price, time to look around for a voucher to use with this one and nett a cheap dozen with 1,000 QFF (You guessed it, plus the 2x QEDRCC earn on this one too :p)

Out a total of 5 targeted offers for the Shintaro clan of 5 (Excluding the Cellarmasters offer), with only one member not getting any love this week, we will be using 3/5 offers...Still I am not concerned about the offers we are not using due to the poor value contained within them, and history shows that EDR love us even if we don't show any love back...!

Happy harvest everyone :D:D:D

After a long period of multiple offers, no offers for any of the clan today  :(.

Shintaro10x, can you flick some my way ;)

Looks like I'll have to drink some of my previous purchases, holding my EDR keyring, rolling them in my fingers chanting "my precious..."

As I'm not into FlyBuys looks like the wine offer is my only hope - but with 2 full wine fridges and an almost full wine rack, looks like a forlorn hope.

Good point, however I am not sure if this works when using ePump though...? I also do not link accounts as I believe you get better EDR offers if you go solo...

It does work.

What doesn't work at the moment is vouchers for points. That's broken at ePump whether it's a voucher your card earnt or a linked card earnt.

Points are working fine on my QEDRCC when using ePump, so it is NOT a system wide problem... Perhaps just a problem for a few accounts...?
