Easier to upgrade from J to F than PE to J?

I'm surprised nobody mentioned changing the wife!

Well that is gonna cost a lot more than 60K points, cheaper to let her have the hand wash!
Clearly need to fly more with the wife and provide her with upgrades or fly overseas via SYD and get a First Class upgrade so she can enjoy the lounge, I guarantee when she sees what they are really meant to be used for there will be no more hand-wash.

It was a frustrating moment, I actually showed her everyones comments here for a laugh and in her defense she said -

"Hey it wasn't just handwash! It was 4 handwashes from Miranda Kerr!"

/slaps forehead

Next time you sit in F and she sits in J... with her Miranda Kerr handwash. :p (Don't tell her I said that; you could be looking for a new, ummm... never mind) ;)

And for the metrosexual curious or those with SWMBO who might be similarly tempted, here is the "offending" product range:

What happened to the good ol' days where men attracted women to spend their money... not their points!

Lucky they don't sell diamonds on the Qantas Store.

I'm sorry but id want Miranda Kerr to wash my hands for 60k points, but that's a whole other story......... :)

If I were in charge of QFF for a day the first thing id do is call in some IT boffins and run a few reports; i.e What the most amount of points spent in a day is by a person, what did they buy, whats the weirdest thing that has been bought. What the most expensive single thing you can by is etc, all equally useless information, but good fun none the less.

My worst was many years ago had a terrible day at work and needed to cheer myself up so used points to upgrade from ADL to MEL for a nice dinner flight without checking the aircraft type and of course it was a 737-400. Things you should never do.

Well at least you got a "nice dinner", if you didn't get the best seat. ;)

Getting a bit O/T here, but point is, the Store has a place for those who really can't spend points fast enough on awards and upgrades. It probably also works for those who will never get enough points to redeem for a worthy award.

Not sure I'd spend 60k for beauty products (pretty exxy, that stuff!). 60k for Miranda Kerr, on the other hand ;) :p
