I received 100SC ( credited on 11/03/14) , not the 150 SC, I p/called yesterday and the lovely Mr Velocity said he will look into it....
Currently sitting on 480 SC, so close but yet so far!
What are some things so hard to gain, and the email did say 150SC & 50,000 VFF points

Still disappointed! Now after 4 p/calls to Velocity, and the promise of return p/calling ( still wanting!) I was given 100SC and not the 150SC, I would have made gold. I've lost 40SC (expired). Now I'm 60SC short. 8-(
And I've met all the requirement in taking up the AMEX Velocity Platinum. All my flying is self funded, I think I'll move across to the dark side and travel with the other mob!

I just got my 50000 points but I didn't get the SC offer originally despite being within the time frame. No SC for me.

yep still waiting on my 150 points as well, been almost 8 weeks since first Virgin purchase requirement.
Would like to gift SWMBO a Companion gold card before May as she is travelling a bit it would make her life (and consequently mine) a bit easier.

Time to start rattling some cages I think.

Not sure when they changed eligible flights, but your $350/pa fee only gets you a regional flight if you're in WA now.

Quite annoying as I checked it right before signing up last month and it would have got me from Perth to Sydney or Melbourne (but not Brisbane).

Seems like the Velocity rep may / should be able to assist all those who have not got what they signed up for. Esp when in the meantime SC have relapsed. Shame!

I won't be following this offer up based on these reports.

Another 2 p/calls to Velocity (Spaced a week apart).! Each of their reps state my case has been escalated & someone will p/call and update me of the outcome in the next few days. Nope...zippo! No reply...... :-( Its been lingering on for far too long.
I took the VELOCITY AMEX PLATINUM card offer up in Nov, spent in Dec, purchased a Virgin flight in early Jan, gained the 50,000 points on 13 Jan, and 100 SC on 7 March (not 150SC) and now lost 40SC expired 14 & 19 March . I should be showing 530 SC and not the current 440SC
Any other ideas?

Cant say that my experience has been much better, same deal as others ... made a virgin purchase in January got the 50,000 points not a problem.
But the status credits are not looking to be as easy to get out of them. After actually calling speaking with a VA rep, I have been told that it actually 8 weeks from the statement that corresponds with the month that the purchase was made in. So if you make a January purchase it wont be acknowledged until the February statement, then start waiting for 8 weeks from then.

I am lucky enough that I am already WP and my next review is not until Feb 2015, so I have nothing to lose or gain by waiting ... but 3+ months and not receiving any updates at all about when you will actually get the credits, especially when the T&C's said it would be 6-8 weeks from the qualifying purchase (not from statement at all, I still have the email with the T&C's) is a bit unprofessional in my opinion.
And I would deem it a disingenuous offer for those who needed the credits to maintain or go to the next level of their VFF status, who signed up for the card when they might not have otherwise.

I signed up in december but haven't purchased the virgin flt yet as i didn't need the credits till after mid april. is there any time limit to buy the virgin flt?

I got the SCs fairly quickly after using the card but haven't got the 50 000 points. Had the card since Jan - what did I have to do to get the points? Have paid for at least one flight (and I think maybe two) on VA.
