Do Qantas interline with Jetstar Asia AA redemption

Hi have an AA award Bne to Sin. Arrive Sin at 17.55 and there is a Jetstar flight leaves at 19.30. Tight connection but very doable in Sin if bags are interlined through but obviously seperate PNR. Any recent expereinces?

Don't think they will tag your bag to Jetstar on separate tix, my suggestion would be to online checkin so you are checked in at least and then approach the SIN transfer desk for potentially retrieving your bag behind the scenes and retagging. However not sure if JQ/3K transfers in SIN do retagging, maybe someone else with prior experience can comment?

As mentioned in the post above they may not tag bags through on separate tickets but you can definitely use 3K transfer desk at SIN Transfer C and they will issue boarding pass and tag flights through to 3K destination.

The airport staff retrieve your bags behind the scenes based on your baggage receipt from your incoming flight. They will then rip the old tag off and put new tags on.

Further to the OP's question, I'm flying MEL - SIN in May with QF and will transfer to a 3K flight to BKK which was booked as separate ticket. I'll only have carry on.

Does anyone know if folk can check into 3K flights in Australia?

I don't think so. Head straight to Transfer C in SIN to get onward boarding pass.

You can print your own boarding pass and go straight to the gate.
