All available on EF. Rules are too long to paste so I've attached as a txt files. Routings are below

Thanks for that. I'm aware the fare is now gone but for future reference, how did you pull it up? Did you know the fare basis first? When the basis was posted on FT I went to the fare information section on EF and entered SYD, BCN and SYD as the to, from and purchase city fields, added depart and return dates and AY to the airlines, and and the fare basis to the relevant field. I got no results.

How do I go about doing this? I've been looking at Skyscanner for fares, but I feel like there should be a different way to do this?

ExpertFlyer, but I wouldn't bother - it looks like Qantas 'fixed' this a few months ago by moving A from Business down to Discount Economy.

The fare itself is still showing up in ExpertFlyer like below.

As the booking class is N (as per first letter of fare basis) EF treats it as an Economy fare. Whether this is normal for a mixed fare I'm not sure, this is the first one I've looked at closely.

All of the *LCOMBAU fares are mixed Y/J, by the way.

Thanks for that. So when you saw the fare you went to EF and searched for AY SYD-BCN? And how did you determine that NLCOMBAU was the fare basis for this particular fare, rather than another?

Anyone able to help me find 145SC to hit gold before the end of December?
I'm based in PER and CNS so could feasibly do a run from either of those places. Would be aiming for the lowest cost/SC ratio so "happy" to be in Y if needed. My Qclub expires soon, so I'm trying to see if I can do a run for less, or not much more.

Also look at IB Express (I2). Some of their cheaper fares book into "A" class:cool:

Bugger; 'twas a good earner while it lasted (LYS-MAD earned us 40 SC for Euro 22 last year).

For the record, you can find some good prices here: Cheap Flights and Airline Tickets with Iberia Express

But as sbor90 points out, the cheapest fares now earn at discount Y rates rather than business.

It was mentioned in the FT thread.

Just reposting in case anyone has bright ideas! Anyone able to help me find 145SC to hit gold before the end of December?

CNS-BNE-MEL may work out well in Flex Y (30+30 = 60 one way). Or if travelling between PER and CNS, use the multi-city tool to find PER-MEL-BNE-CNS return, and that should get what you need (or some combination).

CNS-BNE-MEL-HBA in Flex Y return may also give you what you need.

Hi, I need to not only get my 4 segments, but of course, get some credit. I live overseas now and keeping gold is my aim, and with no qantas flights anywhere near me now (Qatar blockade & qatar airways pricing ex DOH is a joke), I need to come home to Syd, see family and get my 4 segments.

Therefore...Can anyone tell me what the best 4 segment status run ex SYD is? Shortest would be good too please! less than a day roundtrip idealy... Brisbane townsville return?

Try UL DOH-CMB-KUL combined (separately) with KUL-SIN-MEL-SYD on 3K/JQ(QF)/QF as round trips Using SIN in place of KUL would work but KUL should be cheaper. Another option would be DOH-CMB//CMB-Oz where UL tickets QF directly - would definitely be cheaper than qf.com

Upgrades will be possible DOH-CMB unless in the middle of holidays.

Happy wandering

Royal Jordanian may be an option to Amman, then a QF ticket from there through to Sydney, routing creatively if required?

Hi Folks,
Im currently at 465 points and hoping to keep gold status for as cheap as posible.

With the 50 bonus points at 500, I should only need 85 points, but I am struggling to find much. I would appreciate any suggestions for runs out of Melbourne.

Edit: I have until 31 Jan

Thanks

Try MEL-BNE-CNS in Flex Y.. that’s 60 one way, and then either do the return same way for another 60, or direct CNS-MEL for 30 in Flex Y (would probably need an overnight in CNS).
