any ideas for a run for 60 SC for SG? I have 3 weeks to get them... and figure it is probably worth trying to achieve being so close!

am in adelaide....
ADL-xMEL/SYD-AKL/CHC is the magic 60SCs. You might be lucky with some sub $700 fares at short notice. Compared to QP fee could be worthwhile?

Cheap Asia sales on at the moment - if they work for you?

In my upcoming trip to the US i am looking at the most creative way to get from OAK to New York and back to LAX i believe i only get status credit with AA or AS only ? Looking at 150-200 SC is that possible ?

Yes, AA and AS are the only Oneworld airlines you'll be able to book for those. Can you provide your travel dates?

Hi all

Will be based in London next year and contemplating whether it is worth it to make a run for WP from SG.

Will probably need ~500SC. Any ideas on the cheapest way to accumulate that amount?

LHR-INV-LHR-ORD-LHR-INV-LHR in Business with LHR-ORD-LHR in First gets me there for about $3500.

Anything cheaper than that?

Thanks in advance.

Can be done much cheaper than that if you don't mind splitting it up - e.g. LHR-xMAD-BCN RT J on IB for $490, earns 200SC.

Hi all. I would be grateful for your thoughts on best approach/cost effective options to achieve 80 SC before Xmas, ideally originating BNE or MCY. This is to secure WP.

Why? I have six weeks of self funded (economy) international travel coming up in Jan/Feb - Qantas/Oneworld , multi-city via Asia to UK then into Europe and back. For that trip I will be traveling with the present Mrs Nomis and the First lounge access and better points upgrade possibilities would go down very well.

I have points, but plan on using them for QF upgrade requests, so the budget to achieve the missing 80 is ideally less than $800. Sadly have not been visited by the DSC faeries (yet).

Excellent sales from HKG-DPS, TPE-DPS, DPS-LGK and a couple others pairs on MH. $2-3/sc

Has anyone had experiences with a turnaround at LGK or DPS? LGK would be 30 mins where as DPS would be 1H.

I am not sure but I am guessing that LGK would be treated as a domestic flight so potentially more doable than DPS.

I'll be travelling to Spain on the 27th of December and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of good status run options (particularly using Iberia) that would net me a decent amount of SC's (~250) for as little as possible? I know people have posted cheap flights from BCN to LGW, but I don't think these are viable during this period.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could look at the LATAM flights MAD-FRA, these give 120sc return from around AU$460 at the end of December (i.e. ~$3.80/sc).
