Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

[AUElwood]

Not a good timing as I am quite busy today. A quite scan that the Chapel Hill Vicar and a couple of Bordeaux 2022 are good buy

Grabbed that for $23 and also Island of Sliding doors Chardonnay 2025 for $22

Happy days

Must admit I'm bogged down with hammering out my tax return and missed the Carpe Diem window, struggling to remember the protocol with a link to the sale plus magic password* would be nice for next time
*knowing that they change it routinely...

Carpe Diem has no password and link seldom changes. The Private Sales have a password and links/passwords vary.

Depends which Dans - would only be at that clearance price at select locations. My locals have it at $338

Well, yes, that's the case with many DM deals.
Saw it here: https://www.middaysomewhere.com.au/prices/3302/hennessy-xo-cognac
This was for ACT pickup or delivery.

anyone can help with the carper diem link? interested in Chapel Hill Vicar

[Dr Ralph]

anyone can help with the carper diem link? interested in Chapel Hill Vicar

No. Sale time is always limited. It usually is only open for a couple of hours and this one closed several hours ago now.

https://www.langtons.com.au/fine-wine-store/carpe-diem

But as above, this isn't going to work now the sale is over.

[Whining&dining]

Interestingly after my apparent faux pas earlier I drilled down through my browser's bookmarks and found the link but Firefox didn't like it:

Be careful. Something doesn’t look right.

"Firefox can’t create a secure connection to the server at www.langtonscarpediem.com.au."

Mind you it's been ages since I last accessed it so who knows...

https://www.langtons.com.au/wine-store/carpe-diem does connect though the sale is long over, is this the correct link?

Yep thats it

[Agenor]

That (being too lite) is exactly what prevented me from buying it. And I reckon they should offer the reduction for a sixer as they use Aramex

Mine were all delivered by Aus Post..

In term of body, it is definitely not a big red but I won’t call it lite. It is super savoury. A bit like a Tyrrell’s Mother or Old Hillside. Body of a Vat 9 if you don’t know the others.

I don’t look at the shipping fee but at the total price. $165 a dozen is a no brainer for me. Note that I’’m talking about the 2019. The 2021 is a bit less impressive but still a superbe value at 13.75.
