I only got the six pack, which has:
2000, 2001 & 2015 Vintage Brut
2x 2001 Sparking Shiraz (happy about that)
2004 Midnight Cuvee

I'll open a Sparkling Shiraz tonight, as it's steak night, and report back.

And an update. The sparkling reds, the 2000 & 2001 Vintage Brut were all flat and undrinkable. I'm not game to try the others, and have asked for my money back. Maybe the accountants who thought it was a good idea to clear out old stock never thought about the damage to the brand.

I also got mine refunded.

A Senior Winemaker emailed me and wrote: 'All of the wines were tasted by the winemaking team prior to the sale and all were considered to be sound drinking. The wines in the $60 sparkling packs were selected on the basis that they were at or potentially just past their peak, but were thought to still offer some interest and enjoyment, especially for the price. As these traditional method sparkling wines age, we normally find that there is much greater bottle variation over time which may have contributed to some quality issues.'

I tasted 4 from a relatively big order, and they were all cough. Funny enough, after I got the refund, I opened another 2001, and it was correct. 100% past its peak but drinkable and an interesting experience.

That is still only 20% of ‘ok to drink’ bottles, so requesting a refund is very justified, but there is some hope that one of your remaining bottles is ok.

The vintage packs look interesting. Unless I am mistaken though, it doesn't mention what vintage(s) are included.

The Blue Pyrenees vintage packs. I called it back then.

It's a buyer's market. This looked like a rubbish deal at the outset. When a wine maker can't offload it's old past it wine to the countless mystery wine retailers then you know it must be truly garbage.

The cost of client acquisition to a boutique winery is probably > $60, so it's just a dumb business decision to do anything that can screw loyalty for such a small return.
