Many of the DMs and some of the Liquorlands around Brisbane stock Moretti for $66 per slab. There are much better Italian beers, though - Eg. Ichnusa non filtrato, and Messina con cristalli di sale, though hard to find right now.

My comment was more related at the stock availability for anyone hoping to grab some Moretti's from Wanniassa, as I got the whole slab.

Leaving aside the OT and subjective discussion of other Italian beers that may or may not be better than Moretti, I'd also suggest that those other beers are hard to get always, not just now, and most likely at specialist outlets with a price reflecting the scarcity. Probably should discuss further in the beer thread.
