EDIT: GONE. I have a $30 code for Cellar One to give away - I think it expires today. First to DM can have it but please only if you will actually use it (minimum spend $99)

40% cashback at bws via shopback, capped at $30.
Works out to a purchase cap of $75 so perfect for a 16 pack of decent beer! Picked up a case of Bentspoke crankshaft which came down to about $40. Shame i couldnt find any more Moss Woods around as it would have been perfect for a $45 bottle of that at the discounts they had them previously.

Plenty of full price MW sitting at BWS waiting to be discounted.

Still some Henschke Keyneton for $36 after discount sitting around

Came across this "wine deal"

Spend $200 on Wynns to receive a Driza-Bone Lumberjack Heritage Jacket for $50

Check T&Cs incl. The offer will run in participating stores (excluding Dan Murphys, BWS, Liquorland, First Choice and Vintage Cellars) and (excluding online) which are displaying promotional material (Stores) in Australia.
I enquired earlier today on the Wynns website asking for participating stores in my area. No reply yet. I will share if the Wynns Consumer Relations Team replies.

Got an incredibly damaged box of wine from Aramex today. Absolutely slaughtered - probably forklift damage, taped all over to try and make it not fall apart. Amazed the bottles survived - if they weren't semi-premium they wouldn't have. And of course they ignored the delivery instructions. Unfortunately it's the default courier for Winestar (Aus Post would cost $20 extra). Has anyone had the chance to leave direct feedback with Winestar about their choice of "courier"? I've not seen replies from shop@ in the past.

I've never had a problem over probably more than one hundred deliveries from Winestar. I'd be inclined to ring and let them know. Customer service has always been top rate in the past.

I've had similar problems in the past. Aramex is simply pathetic. Winestar don't seem to care. It's meant that I no longer buy from Winestar.

I've discussed it with Bert a few times over the years.
Basically the Aramex rate is more consistent Australia wide and includes insurance.
So far the rate of damages and customer resistance hasn't been enough to change his mind.
But the more feedback on bad experiences the better. If you use the chat facility during business hours you might sometimes get Bert himself. Or email [email protected]

Not on my bingo card for 2025 - finding arbitrage opportunities by buying wine to secure Driza-Bone Lumberjack Jackets...

Of interest, I made some rare buys from Dan Murphy during the recent discount code flurry and the half-price Pommery Vintage Champagne deal. Most of my deliveries came from interstate and the "delivery partner" used turned out to be Aramex.

Funny, but my experience here in Brisbane near the CBD has been completely the opposite. The regular Aramex delivery person who seems to deal with my deliveries - mainly from Winestar - couldn't be nicer. He will often ring me in advance to let me know he's delivering in the next hour, and will call me if the office happens to be closed to arrange an alternative. I'm sorry you have had bad experiences, but they might be regional to you.

Aramex regional operators are franchisees and performance varies immensely. ACT was consistently bad for many years, but the current mob seem to be reasonably Ok. But you have to be Ok with "dump and run" mode without ringing the doorbell.

Thanks everyone re: Aramex. This looked to go from MEL > Geelong > regional Vic and clearly it didn't get damaged this badly on the last leg. Assuming it left Winestar in correct condition, it got mishandled inbetween. I don't care who the courier is, there should not be this level of damage to a box. It's unfortunate Winestar is prioritising profit over customer satisfaction based on comments here - I like their business model, but I'll be thinking twice before ordering again, and I wonder how they would have handled any broken bottles.
