I bet there's a lot of people in catering and travel industry that are a wee bit concerned at the moment.
I was trying to figure out what this VM black market deal was: Shiraz 2016 – Black Market Deal #32781 (tips appreciated) and I stumbled across Rochford Wines. It's a 2019 in plastic bottles, maybe for another cancelled event. Supposedly the Estate Pinot rather than the pedestrians one. If I drink from a glass it shouldn't matter, right?

I realise it's a different product, but I'd be very concerned if I ordered from Vinomofo and it turned up in plastic bottles unless the offer explicitly indicated this.

No only the Rochford Pinot is in plastic and that's why it is $10/bt instead of $38. Just wondering if anyone has any experience, I know Mt Franklin water tastes like plastic after a while...

I wouldn't be buying anything in plastic unless I was planning on taking it to a poolside event or somewhere else Glass would be inappropriate. And I'd not be planning on keeping it around more than a couple of weeks.

A friend in the bottling industry says wine has a 6 month shelf life in plastic.
Thanks - that is the info I was looking for. If it was created for events that were cancelled it may already be well into that shelf life too.

@Jczer000 thanks for the sleuthing, just had a quick squiz online and couldn't see a great deal beyond the write up the winery's own site, like kevviek I would love to get an opinion on this one....
