I spent about an hour on this last night when I saw the 10% shopback deal. There was nothing that I could get to work that I was happy with. A lot of stuff that either wasn't discounted enough for me to try or that I though was probably very ordinary wine in the first place.

The Clarendon Hills Merlot would have been great, but has sold out.

In the end I bought some craft beers and am waiting to see if this tracks at 10% cash back.

UPDATE: The beer did track at 10%. Happy.
If in doubt buy Scotch 😁 I picked up a Clynelish 14, and a GlenAllachie 12. Strange though it seems I got a bit more then the 10% back

and 20% at Shopback for BWS until 2pm

Wow, that's a pretty good deal if there are no exclusions - I'm going to jump on some clearance wines I have been keeping an eye on (e.g. Taittinger World Cup Champagne) - in theory you could stack 20% cashback, 10% six bottle discount, 5% gift card (although ShopBack dodgy in this regard, so might not be worth trying).

Capped at $30 seems to be the only limit.
Just cleaned my local out of Mumm brut gift boxes at $35 - 10% for 6 - 20% SB Yet to see if it tracks at the $35 price or the full price but it doesn't matter too much since it'll cap out at $30 even at 20% off paid price.

Cap limits seem to be a recent introduction and might be their response to us and other jumping on big deals

Edit:
Although may not track

Cashback is not qualified for:
"Champagne, Penfolds & Non-Alcoholic purchases (unless stated otherwise)"

Will have to wait and see

Moar edits:
Initially tracked at $20 which I thought was a timing issue - but from a post on Ozb looks to be a coding issue that will self correct:

Just need to wait and see if it clears in April then.

One other word of caution - I saw this in shopback terms and conditions:
"Extension tracking does not work for BWS, please clickthrough from ShopBack to ensure that your cashback is tracked. "

I had some trouble getting the extension to activate green when clicking (Before I read the above) but managed after several attempts and it obviously did track. But again - worth keeping in mind with BWS purchases that clicking through from SB website itself may be advisable.

Always worth calling into a Dan Murphy's store to check out what they have (especially one that isn't your local). Surprising the number of times that individual stores have sales/clearances that are not advertised online or where local prices differ from online prices or items are indicted as 'out of stock' online but available in store.

Earlier today got the following items:

2011 Gemtree The Phantom Red Blend @ $13.80
https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_903870/gemtree-the-phantom-red-blend

Pepperjack Sparkling Shiraz NV @ $13.80
https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_540291/pepperjack-sparkling-shiraz-nv

2016 Penley Estate Sparkling Red Echo @ $8.90
https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_656677/penley-estate-sparkling-red-echo

2009 Warwick Three Cape Ladies @ $21.88
https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_907615/warwick-three-cape-ladies

Lucky I had a WISH card on hand for another 5% off :)

Funny you should mention that. Was checking out various stores and found $11.00 each Longview Yakka Shiraz. Decent quaffer. $24 in one store and $11 in a different store a few kms down the road

Also $11.70 Eden road the Long road syrah

Great examples.

Longview showing as $23.80 at my local. Eden Road $11.70
Longview Yakka is always nice. I picked up both the 15 and 16 at different DM clearances lately. Also sometimes some DM have special clearance sticker corners, i recently picked up a heap of Dutschke St Jakobi Shiraz 2012 and 2015 for $14 before egift.

As well as Qantas and Prince Wine Store, Carboot's Australia Day weekend promotion of free delivery also ends midnight tonight - besides chardonnay and pinot noir, using a $50 referral or $20 code these can be delivered:
  • Woodlands Wilyabrup Valley Cabernet Merlot 2016 $7.95
  • Clonakilla O’Riada Shiraz 2017 $20.95 (or together with Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier 2018, both for $105.90)
  • Craiglee Shiraz 2015 $36.95

princewinestore

Prince Wine store has a 10-20% off sale with 2 different stock list, south melb and Sydney, make sure to check them both.

Hi all, in my wanderings I've (virtually) stumbled onto Mr West of Footscray who seem to have an interesting array of tipples (undo auto correct 😉). Anyone have any experience or codes with them?

I recall a few AFFers (maybe @Wozza and AnonymousCoward) buying these 2-3 years ago and also taking home some nice prizes. I was semi tempted but also doubt the actual savings
