Intel on this? Definite bargain if it's any good huh?

Can't find much. It's listed at a couple of online wine stores at similar rrp.
But no real notes, no bottles in Cellartracker

Apparently 95 Points James Halliday Wine Companion 2018 for what that's worth.

Cellar door for Handpicked is in Chippendale in Sydney.
Anyone close enough to pop by and try :)

not much , previous vintage scored 94 from wine front by campbell mattinson(also review wines for james halliday wine companion),

winary website

according to their own winemaker , it was a very good vintage.

a little background on these guys, they made wines from a lot of regions, margaret river, central otago, yarra, tassie, limestone coast, clare, mornington , barossa , heathcote, even grapes from overseas, italy, chile and portugal.

they started small, now owns a few vineyards across the country.

I tried it at cellar door maybe 18 months ago? I remember it being a very nice wine, albeit with an absurd price tag. My gut feel at the time was that it belonged in the $40-50 range, so seeing it pop up at $39.95 doesn't surprise me, nor really get me that interested to be honest.

4.0 from 12 reviews on Vivino

HH gave previous vintage 91

all sounds like if you're happy with a $40 price tag shouldn't be a dud

its times like this that i really struggle to find anything to like about first choice
Couldn't agree more, scrolled through their entire wine offering and nothing even remotely of interest.
Sure. I tend to agree. Suggest you look outside wine. I got some craft beer and spirits at prices I know are never available when factoring in the 20%

Nice. My glance through says the henschke keyneton at $44 and 2016 penfolds 389 at $60 are my top picks.

Keyneton a very good underrated wine in my view. $40 my target price.

TWE Cellardoor.co open again for family and friends referrals. $20 voucher for first order.
Send me a PM with email and your first name for access

Disclosure. I get an entry to a comp for most referrals. Prizes 2015 Grange, $150, $100 vouchers.

Occasional good deals but always worth cross-checking with Dan's for regular stuff, but it is free metro shipping and often have decent voucher offers or extras

A lot of wines from McWilliams being sold on grays at the moment (1 day auctions) Possibly due to the Voluntary Administration? I was having an Old Vine Madeleine's Shiraz 2010 the other night and thinking how great a blind buy that was from grays, so thought I'd have another punt at grays this time too.

At the moment is the Wildlings Reserve Blend Cleanskins 2013 and 2014. (Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon) I picked up the '13 for $59 and the '14 for $79 . Technically I think these are actualy 'unlabeled', not cleanskins as such, and a picture/review on vivino seems to support that.

Also a heap of the Flavour Infused Fortified if that's your thing, I picked up a case of Strawberry for $9 and Spiced for $14.

Buy AT OWN RISK as I haven't tried yet, but the last Wilding Reserve Blend to be scored by JH received 96 and rrp of $50 so worth a shot for me..
