Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Wynns 2016 Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon - case of 6 for $150 at BoozeBud here

Combine with Groupon $50 voucher for $10 from here (first time users only)

Brings the total to $110+shipping, (~$18/bottle).
Looks like a good deal, checked CR which has 4.2% cashback but has a clause saying you may be ineligible:

Cashback may be ineligible if using a coupon not listed on Cashrewards.

Cashback may be ineligible when used in conjunction with payment by a Groupon Boozebud voucher or other third party promotional offers & vouchers.

Has anyone tried this and got the cashback?

Had a good look across BWS stores in BNE to fulfil Mrs H's Christmas order.

Now that I have mine ;) and since I've already made the spreadsheet, this may be useful to others in BNE looking for something from the BWS clearance.

Note there's a couple of random bottles in the list as I was looking to make up to sixes. These are clearance prices, but before wish.

EDIT: Now with number of available bottles as at 1700AEST:

Unreserved auctions are every weekend. I've had some success, but also am amazed at people spending cellar door prices (including BP) on wines that are still available in stores
Auctions seem to bring out the "emotional" bidding in many
Ive been guilty in the past

some great prices there qaz. How often do they run unreserved auctions? I've never used langtons but would be tempted - esp for the price of the Bindi's.
You can get some good pricing. I've brought Bindi on these auctions in the past. The range is great but over priced. It's generally reasonable on the unreserved auctions. Just be careful of the buyers premium and then GST on the buyers premium which adds 16.5% to the hammer price. It's also $10 freight for 1-12 bottles.

Picked up my case of 2010 Balnaves The Tally from the post office today, bought from Qantas wines. I took a look at the bottles in the post office and was surprised to find wine had leaked from four of the six bottles into the case? I haven't taken the cork out of any yet but took the top off one, the cork looks plastic coated? Not sure if this is how it should look or if something has happened, should I be concerned or is this normal for some? I haven't seen this before.

If you search for wine ullage you will find many pages of discussion on the relative dangers of wine seeping out of corks, but usually in the context of very mature wines. I've always heard that if you find one in your cellar plan to drink it ASAP.

In this case I would immediately contact Qantas and arrange for a return, the only reason I could think of for four bottles leaking would be extreme vibration / heat along the supply chain or improperly fitted corks.
