When I look at www.woolworths.com.au all I get under liquor is home brew products and non-alcoholic drinks. Not sure what non-alcoholic spirits are. We used to call that cordial.Just looked at WW online, some of the clearance lines are not listed. Thanks for the tip though.
Is 2017 Bin 389 for ~$46 a great deal? Or just good/OK.For those in Perth the BWS Karrinyup and Herdsman Lake stores still have some decent specials. I can't be bothered driving out that way but 389, Taittinger and other champagnes are on offer for good prices.
It's a good price, in the past you could get it cheaper through Cellarmasters twin packs but I think those days are gone now. Probably not good enough that you want to be making up a case with 4 wines you have no interest in.
I think that's a great deal - Dan's are currently selling it for $75 on special (I think it's now usually about $90-$100). Think it was rated 97 by James Halliday.
Less of an issue for meJust buy anything that’s less than $5 a bottle to make up the 6 bottles. Or buy some champagne.
Went and picked up my wines today, found another bottle of Diana on the shelf (online says 4 available but in actual fact 5) but it was warm to touch. Now the question is, how long have they been exposed to an elevated level of heat since being delivered to the store? I might either return them flog them off via Langton’s.
It's a good price. You will actually find there will be 3 in stock as online always shows one bottle less than is actually in stock to avoid ordering glitches (as someone else mentioned with the Diana M). Two things to do if you want to make up six is find 3 other drinkable wines and use them to get the discount or buy 3 piccolos individually as these count as bottles. Not worth doing online (as no cashrewards at present) so just go to shop and secure all three bottles.
