Thanks. Quite interesting how often Clarendon Hills are being listed for Secret Selection. I really enjoyed the bottle of the 2013 I tasted and I have a few more in the cellar. Might grab a couple of the 14.

FWIW - Halliday rates the 2014 at 94 compared with 95 for the 2013.

Burnt as in drank too much of it? or as in you weren't happy with the last lot?

The Clarendon Hills wines are under cork though, this one says screw cap?

Oops seems to be the result if your search returns no matches. Get the same if I search for gin. So looks like they closed that loophole from last time.

Penfolds does return a few results for expensive packs so no oops in that case

I.e looks like they've just removed all champagne and gin and most penfolds from the site for now

I can't find any publicly available reviews on cellartracker or vivino. Clarendon hills now has a track record of having big RRP wines that are sold at huge discounts at Dan's. This is not a good look in my mind.

The wines I've tried, albeit at huge discounts, have been good value at the price I paid for them, but no way are they worth the original quoted rrp for me.

Maybe we'll get the St Henri 2014 instead! (It also used to say wine of South Australia : )
