Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

For anyone who grabbed the Petaluma Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 (6 x 750mL) Coonawarra from Grays Ebay back on the 9th for $159.89 ($129.89 with voucher) my order has finally reached auspost tracking system after 2 weeks.

I'm still unsure of what I will receive with the obvious price issue. All I know is something is in the post. If its the white label it will go back. I had someone suggest to me it may have taken two weeks to send as the winery needed to 'make' some special yellow label Coonawarra for the ebay purchases. Do things like fake labelling happen? whats the chances? as I would assume it would not be cost efficient to label 15 cases just for an ebay error.

This one will be more a mystery then most mystery wines out there.

I'm suspecting that Grays probably didn't have any actual Coonawarra, and it's taken this long to organise to buy some and ship it. If it was the white label, you'd assume they would have just shipped it straight away.

chonka, did you chase up Grays or ebay by phone or email or did it just take time for your order to process?

I made enquiry to Grays via ebay 'contact seller' email

Either way all the Petaluma was pulled from Gray straight after I made a purchase

Yep, got my email notification too that the Petaluma C'warra is on it's way. Might have to do a vertical tasting if this arrives!

I got an email and a text this morning saying my recent Cellarmasters order was ready for collection at the local BWS. I turned up there tonight and was told by the attendant that they didn't receive any Cellarmasters deliveries today and maybe I could phone tomorrow or something to see if it had arrived. Pretty unimpressed, grumpy email sent!

I had an email this morning telling me my order had been dispatched, and when I opened my back door there it was on the step!

I had a similar experience, I pushed a bit so they went and had a look and suddenly found it...
