Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Did anyone jump on the $599 mixed cases? Tempting, but a lot to gamble on unknown varieties, regions, vintages etc...
Good luck with the prize draw for anyone who rolled the dice! ;)

Agree this was very risky. Would love to hear of anyone who did jump on this and see what they got.

2006 Balnaves of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon The Tally Reserve Langtons 1, 1 (750ml) Mystery Dozen
2012 Bicknell fc Chardonnay Yarra Valley Langtons 1, 1 (750ml) Mystery Dozen
2008 Giaconda Roussanne Aeolia Ovens Valley Langtons 1, 0 (750ml) Mystery Dozen
2008 Grant Burge Shiraz Meshach Barossa Valley Langtons 1, 1 (750ml)Mystery Dozen

Edit: not a bad bottle in there, and at an average price of $50, I think it's pretty good value.

Yeah that is a pretty good line up. I'm guessing from the popularity and how quickly it sells that not too many people are disappointed with the packs.

I haven't been disappointed by these packs, the last one I ordered I was one of the people to get a Grange, which was nice. Memory fades in terms of specific wines but of the three or so packs I have ordered I also haven't been overwhelmed (outside of the Grange).

I jumped. And, like AC, have in the past. The wines are hopefully as good as they have been previously.

I'll post here what I get in the Mystery Pack when they arrive.

I have my fingers crossed I might actually win one of the prizes this time! Five so far, and no prize!
