Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

The bernoota 2009 is an absolutely beautiful wine.....very very highly recommended ! And at $18, a steal. better than the 2010 it is.

Not familiar with this one, but I'm seeing a lot of very ordinary scores from many different wine critics for the 2009 - low 90's common score.

People should also not that this wine wasn't designed for long term cellaring. 2015 is close to its limit.

The 2009 Turkey Flat shiraz @ $40 is the same price as the last couple of vintages. Big fan of Turkey Flat.....tempting!

Thanks for a bit of background info...I have a few of them and I will treat myself in the next week to assess.....or rather more importantly, reassess. Storage has been great so no issues there.
I have been a fan of lakebreeze for quite a while, and their Arthurs reserve constantly gets great accolades. With so many new wines uncovered in the last 2 years, it has been a while since I have tried it.
What impresses me is the honesty and hard work these Folletts put into their product. I am sure it is no different to many smallish type wineries out there giving it their best and in this case, not charging a premium for it.
Funny enough their Cabernet gets plenty of cudos but something draws me more to the blend. Furthermore, the Arthurs Reserve is supposed to be the best 10 odd barrels. I have only two of the 2009 AR, but that is a keeper.
Some of these recommended drink by dates can also be highly variable so it is obviously important to keep sampling from time to time. Of course, the more serious stuff has decades in them.

Through my Wine Companion Membership, I got an email today giving me a 20% off code for WineMarket. I won't share the code as it looks to be a one shot code per person, but I may be prepared to order a few things on the code for those that I know on here (or who pre-pay me in advance) and who work in Sydney CBD ...

damn interesting how thefox Gordon cab temp gets flogged on the reviews.....crikes, it would net down to something special after your 20per cent.
on the white, their chardy has one great review...again, for the money, should be good !! I would gladly go halves on the two of them if you are keen....I will need extra drinking at Ettalong beach after the 4 day sydney thing !!

I got the same, but my code looks generic

Having just read the fine print in the Offer, I think the code might be generic but it can only be used once per person:

Expires 11:59pm AEST 14/10/2015. Excludes orders of Penfolds Grange, Penfolds Bin 389, Penfolds 707, Champagne, Beer, Cider, or RTDs. Enter voucher code [redacted] into the Voucher Code box at any stage during checkout. $70 minimum spend. Valid for first sale only. Purchases from WineMarket must not be re–sold commercially. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Not redeemable for cash. WineMarket reserves the right to cancel orders made outside of these terms and conditions. Standard WineMarket T&C's apply.

Code is generic. It's even listed on this page: [redacted]

There you go Beefarmer - you have your code for those two purchases you were hankering after ...

Thanks for spotting this Jabba100

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Looks like it may be close to a loss leader to get you on their mailing list, but I am quite tempted for that price.

The Gemtree and Dandelion can be had for circa $15 easily enough elsewhere.
