They called me. They have an IP filter, if the IP is not the same as the card, it declines automagically. Hopefully fixed and paid and I still get that Jeroboam!

I thought I had a 'good' login for cellardoor.co but can't see any of these :(

neither can i anymore, except the sparkling shiraz which is now more expensive :(

The email Cellar Door sent me said the 2017 collection would be released on the 19th - sounds like qaz has special access

or rather i did and wasn't meant to as it seems that i'm no longer special enough - probably, unfortunately, a glitch (anyone watching the abc series?)

?? how to do exactly

try changing the last digit :)

This is awesome, however I'm seeing the prices as being $290/280/200/160 respectively, listed as member prices. I have not made an account nor logged in. Am I missing something?

yes

Same. And it wants a confirmation code?

speaking of taittinger, in case anybody is meeting clovis tonight, a film crew could be there - so dress and behave well :)

baiden that 707 price is now too high for me. I can still remember it at $100 before they hiked all the prices. I may have very little left now.

(Maybe its my poor memory but) it doesn't seem that long ago, that was the price for a Grange - which even then seemed pretty steep.
So many wines topping the $100 mark now.

Yes baiden it is now very much sticker shock with Treasury Wines pricing.
In recent times I switched to Moss Wood ,Diana Madeline ,Vasse Felix and a couple of others.
This week We will go out to a dinner with a lovely WA red and some bubbly.

I was shocked to see the new price for '15 Hewitson Mother Vine - now named Monopole Shiraz Mother Vine and $150 a bottle (on epiQure) I think the '13 had a RRP of ~$50

Still out of order...amazing....u really gotta wonder with CM sometimes
is it down or do they want it to be down?

Seems a tad strange - pushing 2 weeks out of order soon. On a happier note, ive been holding off grabbing the Wynns due to the egift issue, and today a $50 voucher turned up in the mail to seal the deal :) (paying $15.95 + $1.40 on a six pack is a killer)

On the Cellarmasters topic, does anyone have any thoughts on the Saltram Mamre Brook Barossa Shiraz 2012? We lean towards the big reds, and at 15% ive been eyeing that one off lately

I can't offer any insight on the '12, but I have a nice stockpile of the '10 which is marvellous.

I like it, it is quite substantial, it's a good buy if you have a decent voucher to bring it under $20.

G'day all.

My Wine Guy offering 2015 Allegiance Unity Shiraz (Mclaren Vale) for $32.95 (allegedly down from $100) here:

2015 Mystery 97 Point McLaren Vale Old Vine Shiraz

I've no idea about the quality of these wines, but they seem to be getting pushed hard down these mystery/secret distribution route.

I bought this last time offered on the back of liking the Barossa 2014 version of Unity. I tried it on Monday night, it's an odd wine, very spicy/floral/musk lolly character on nose and palate, not sure how it will develop, but wouldn't really recommend it.

Update: Someone on my Forum said that they "...really, really like it.", so some others obviously appreciate the different style.

@boomy and @georgehall - how's the 2014 Riversdale Reserve Centaurus Pinot Noir?

Sorry for the late reply qaz, I'm still drinking the 2012 vintage but generally I'm a fan of Riversdale Pinot as an every day drop and make sure to get at least one case during each CM sale.
If you like full bodied Tassie Pinot then you'll probably like this one. I found their wines to be much better than their more famous neighbor Frogmore Creek.
In fact I'm having their 2012 Chardy tonight :)

Edit: I moved my comment about Cellarone invites to the referral thread.
