Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I actually had 3 family members with me when it was delivered so I gave each of them a bottle? Anybody else sharing with family members? ;)

Would love to share some of my wines with the family, especially dad but shipments to Europe are so expensive!

Mine is still at the 'packed' stage and I know my local store has stock.

Absolutely not. They won't allow this with their 'delivery only offers'.

I've phoned and asked why. They claim its because the stock comes from a central depot, not the store.

And it's not a courier, it's Australia Post.

My champers clearly came from my local store, and it is delivered by NexDay couriers, not Aus Post.

I ordered mine on Wednesday the 18th and got it this morning :)

Will open one for dinner and report back.

Looks like boomy's also came from the local store. Interesting - Dan's previously only shipped from depots in Melbourne and Sydney and only used AusPost.

Yes if tastes is anything that resembles the packaging it will be a winner.

But I thought sharin' was carin'. Only child maybe? Just askin'. :D
Three are going to my mum (and I'm an only child to boot).

Just came in to my mail from Cracka Wines

Ever had regrets about the one that got away? The massive fish, the dream job, the big house you always wanted...

Something I suffer from more and more these days is wine regret - when I open that last bottle of something special and wish I'd bought much more when I had the chance.

Today, we have the kind of wine that, one day, you'll wish you backed the truck up for...

From the legendary 2010 vintage, and produced by an iconic winemaker, this single vineyard cool-climate South Australian Shiraz is one of the most cellar-worthy wines I've seen in recent years. Weighing in at just 13.5% alcohol, this red is ideally built for ageing, with James Halliday tipping it will last until 2035. James gave it a massive
96 points, as did Jeremy Oliver.

Matured for 16 months in top class French oak, this shows that combination of power, elegance and balance rarely seen in a wine this young.

At its full price of $60 it is a classy drink worthy of any special occasion, and our old mate DM is selling the younger, lower pointed vintage for over $47 per bottle. But today we're letting this cellar release (literally, it came straight from this famous winery's cellar) for just $32.99/bottle in six packs, making it easily one of our buys of 2015.

Avoid buyer’s remorse – stock up now as it will be gone in a flash...

I reckon you are right.

Costco have Wynns Black Label Cab Sav for $25.xx, and "The Siding" for $12.xx as of today.

So what do you do with the tins? This product would make a great gift for someone but tomorrow I will go buy a doz and strip out to rack them in cellar - <scratches head>

I forgot to add that due to Costco being a membership organisation then Dan's will not entertain a price match under any circumstances.
