$120 + postage.

Looks good to me, especially considering the value alone from the Sorby Adams + the usual combined discounts available.

Package arrived today, with one broken bottle (Hentley Farm The Marl Shiraz).

First time I've had a problem with delivery from Dan's (although they did use a courier to deliver as apposed to Aus Post). Working on a solution.

EDIT: Solution provided by Dan's is to attend the local store and get a replacement - no need to bring in the damaged bottle and no need to supply evidence that it was damaged. Was also offered a new bottle to be posted or a gift card for the value of the bottle to be sent instead. Very happy with service from Dan's.

Now, that is good customer service and recovery.

Maverick Ahrens' Creek Barossa Valley Grenache 2012

Have to admit this is pretty tempting. Found myself a big fan of Yalumba's Anderson single site Grenache from 2008, and the expression you get from a single site wine.

On the other hand, anyone tried Brand's Laira Stentiford Coonawarra Shiraz? https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_MYSTERY7/secret-selection-old-vine-coonawarra-shiraz
As a big fan of Wynns V&A Lane, am wondering if this will be as nuanced/delicate and 'un-Barossa' like...

Coles liquor/Liquorland have the Chalkboard Cotes du Rhone for $5 a bottle this week, an exceptional price for what should be a great quaffer.

I see the FO has Pirie NV Sparkling at the moment for $26.90 / bottle free delivery - anyone interested in some should look here where six can be yours at $23.84/bottle delivered after the $25- signup bonus (It shows free delivery for me so I am assuming it is site wide)

This site regularly offers single use $20 off discount codes

Winemarket has a 20% off on their ebay site with 'click20' code. Best I can spot is Brokenwood Harlequin Shiraz down to $120 a dozen after discount Brokenwood Harlequin Shiraz 2013 12 Bottles | eBay. They also have a Champagne Pack of 3xMumm and 3xLanson NV's for $192 after discount, which is on the lower end of these labels prices.

Steer clear of Lanson, it is not a particularly nice drop.

CWH, I bought Jim Brand Jims Vineyard Shiraz from Grays for about $25.
I wonder whether this is the other Secret Sel Coonawarra Shiraz?
I haven't tried the 2012 Stentiford, but the former is that paradoxically full flavoured yet complex spicy herbal cool climate wine that does not need long aging. They both seem to be entered in Limestone Coast Shows each year bouncing between silver and bronze.
I can't work out if there is a winemaking connection between them or not.
