In the past it has been the first week of September. When does the menu change to Spring?
The ‘Negroni’ is actually an Americano
We will be there on the 12th.In the past it has been the first week of September.
Nothing like a good old lounge crawl! I do it myself in SYD INT.I had the Godfather Sour and an Applewood G&T last week in MEL, all very good.
The prawn brioche was the favourite food option. I had the prawn, mozzarella, pork and squid. That being said the MEL EK lounge is currently opening at 5:15pm and so I trekked over there for some better cheese and champagne.
I 100% agree however I'd rather spend time in the nice placesNothing like a good old lounge crawl! I do it myself in SYD INT.
That beats me! Two is my limit. I did two at FCO earlier this year. Even in 3.5 hours, that hard yakka!I 100% agree however I'd rather spend time in the nice places
I think my record has been HKG earlier in the year. I went Wing First, Wing Business, QF Lounge, Pier Business and Pier First. Yes I know rookie leagues just 5.
Last Thursday, I had 3.5 hours and could have done 7 in MEL with QF Plat, Amex and Priority Pass. It would have been QF F, QF J, EK, The House, Marhaba, Priority Pass and Amex lounge. Instead I did pop into the House just to have a look (10 mins), spent most my time in the QF F and about 30 mins in the EK lounge.

Last month, i ordered that "hold the sprouts" and it was terrific (if somewhat small). I repeated the order ... yummy.Chilli caramel pork with crispy Brussels sprouts and apple puree. WOW!!! As a card carrying member of the Society of Brussels Sprouts Haters, I went well outside out of my comfort zone to order that dish. But boy oh boy was it delicious!!!

If you didn't know they were Sprouts, you could be a convert @serfty - they were delicious!Last month, i ordered that "hold the sprouts" and it was terrific (if somewhat small). I repeated the order ... yummy.
I asked the staff to pass on my compliments/appreciation to the chef and mentioned that whilst I hate Brussels sprouts, that dish was totally delish! Apparently a fairly new chef on so they were suitably chuffed. If you didn't know they were Sprouts, you could be a convert @serfty - they were delicious!
I thought my aversion to Brussels was a childhood thing and might be cured by extreme maturity. If you didn't know they were Sprouts, you could be a convert @serfty - they were delicious!
Pretty certain the secret to making them taste good is to serve them with other stuff such that no longer taste of Brussels sproutsI thought my aversion to Brussels was a childhood thing and might be cured by extreme maturity.
During COVID, SHMBO was consuming a plate of srteamed Brussels Sprouts. The outdoor was interesting and I was prevailed upon to try one. So I did.
Ick!
It is what it is ...
