Costco - Products, Prices and Deals

Moorabbin has been open 5mths now - only alcohol I have seen cheaper than you can cop at Dan's was Baileys 1ltr @$28 but that lasted like a day or so. Their Margarita mix is cheap when on special but few bargains otherwise - of course I do not see them all every day.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Platinum Label whisky were cheaper at Costco than at Dan Murphys last time I looked.

Also, sometimes the prices look dearer than Dan Murphy prices, but upon further examination the bottles that initailly looked dearer were actually 750ml American sized bottles or 1 Litre bottles, instead of the more standard 700ml bottles.
Regards,
Renato

I treat my annual fee as wiper blades/food tasting subscription. One pair perished, buy another pair and refund the perished one. Rinse and repeat on multiple cars.

Or if I want to try something, buy it, refund it if it's foul. Saved my bacon on quite a few occasions.

Back on topic, have anyone else noticed prices have gone up considerably since they first arrived? Reese's were $12.99 a pop when they first appeared, now $19.99. Those Blue Diamond smoked almonds, used to be $14 IIRC but now over $20. Then there's the Ranch sauce, it was $8 a pop and now almost doubled :(

Perhaps this is related to the US exchange rate.

Something we used to buy was Beef Massaman in a rectangular tub. It seems to have disappeared but was delicious.

That's exactly the reason no doubt since much of Costco's ambient range is directly sourced through the USA.

I was in the Docklands, VIC store today and noticed The large Jar of "Jelly Belly" jelly beans retailing for $24.99 a jar...... I swear that was $21.99 a jar a few months ago.

Perhaps the wiper blade recycling and 'bacon returning' is making the products, prices and deals go up?

Cruiser Elite, what are these Gift 10% + CR 6% thingies you type about???
Gift 10% = Everyday Gift Cards buyable at discount to face value from many sources and which give discount when used across Woolworths owned retail chains - discount rate quoted was from recent Big W Gift Cards -10% promo - discount to face value varies from time to time - follow Dr Ralph on here to maximise your chances of securing -10% offers.

CR 6% is current rebate on Dan Murphy purchases when you shop via Cashrewards web site - Cash Rewards

FYI from the front line: Mrs C reports that Costco has Powercubes (four power outlets plus 2xUSB{output 2.1A}) at 2 for $40 at Costco Docklands.

Not too bad really....I can use a Citi in Costco. I think it changes over in June now.

My US Costco credit card is by Citi and has my photo on it. I get an annual rebate. They switched from Amex quite a while ago.
