Indeed, I get the impression Aussies are too busy emptying supermarket shelves to go on holiday!
cheers skip

Not at the supermarkets I frequent. And at Costco, when don't shoppers here have full trollies?

I think it is more that hand sanitiser has a run on.

As I mentioned, one of our local'ish bakers has been selling flour, in addition to their normal products to help with the flour shortage. Flour isn't in short supply, but in small consumer oriented packs, it is.

Interesting they are not charging for the sour dough starter

Well Reggie my son enrolled me as a Manchester City ticket holder. Now that has a level of difficulty of 10 to get to the games from PERTH.
Hi Cove, Its been a long time. Apart from the lack of any matches, it would be difficult from Perth, however I'm more than happy to take your seat when you can't make it.

Reggie it is a seniors ticket so you might need to do a make up job to look a little older. It was the only way my favourite eldest son could get the second membership with Manchester City. He tried to convert it to a regular ticket but gets no response.
I hope you are safe and sound in Manchester.

Not a guarantee ;) I joined and Amazon AU is still woeful in terms of range and pricing really isn’t that competitive.

Will be cancelling when it comes up.
I used a free Prime trial to have a USA parcel sent to me from the USA, it would have cost about $300 otherwise.... and then I canceled the membership trial.

Im also making plans to transition back to the office a couple of days per week which means taking back my office monitor ect and I love having a dedicated office space at home. Ive found, unlike sitting on the couch with my laptop and working, I switch off and walk away for the night if Im set up in spare room/my space.

Trying to find a 32" monitor under $300 is impossible so had to go to a 28". Ordered yesterday and already delivered!

Too late now, but next time try out MSY, they usually have a few different 32" under $300, depends if in stock with all the supply line troubles at the moment

I went to the "oldies" shopping period at Woolies today, it was amazingly quiet. TP about 60% stocked. Full shelves of Pasta but Pasta Sauce at about 40%. Plenty of frozen and tinned veggies. For the first time in a while there were packets of Woolies Brand Plain flour. No expensive Blueberries - in fact no Blueberries at all.

Havent heard of them so good to know and one store not too far away (and they deliver)..... looks like <$300 is out of stock but all good, Im now on my new Acer monitor and keyboard ect. The colours are different so I guess my office monitor is a getting on in years.

Bought a 4K 32" TV from Aldi on Saturday for $227 - it works well on my Laptop via the HMDI port ... ;)
Hubby offered me his Fireplace room Kogan as a monitor but I thought he was using it as an excuse to get something bigger.

And I didnt go to the shops often before all of this, cant imagine having to deal with an Adli crowd. :)

Hubby did his weekly mail box run today and said there was no Glen20 at Coles or Woolies. We give our deliveries a spray so have to use my Pineoclean spray now. We still wash hands ect but we've been spraying and leaving - no idea if it makes a difference.

Kogan often have good prices for monitors and so do CentreCom. Have bought successfully from both.

It was not crowded at 9am when I rocked up (30 minutes after opening). They had a 65" going for $529 - all had been sold be the time I got there but there were plenty of the smaller ones.

Dettol 50ml hand sanitisers in stock at Amazon at the moment if anyone wants some: Dettol Instant Hand Sanitizer 50ml: Amazon.com.au: Health & Personal Care

Minimum qty of 2

Surprised things are still so patchy around the place. My next door neighbour told me (I haven't personally been shopping there for a couple of weeks) the Woollies near me a couple of days ago had many tubs of hand sanitiser on sale with a limit of 2 bottles per customer & no obvious major shortages of other products.

Apparently one of their stores overestimated the increased buying and put out too many prawns and ending up selling them in the evening for $6kg
