Credit Card Offers CommBank Ultimate Awards Card: 100K award points – potentially fee free

So what do you do. Transfer VFF to KF, or can VFF be used to redeem o/s bookings directly?
either or, depends where you find availability. KF worked well for me in the past, however with the latest changes looks like the availability has also suffered. The game is constantly evolving, making it hard to predict, but I started valuing Velocity higher than QFF.

Plus Velocity periodically have bonus transfers from bank partners, right?

Cba velocity transfer bonuses used to be random and off-cycle from the usual may and November that Velocity runs annually. But cba has recently changed their loyalty admin provider dumping several airline partners at the same time, QFF and Velocity are the only ones left. Cba was a participating partner in the latest Velocity Nov-Dec offer, hope this trend continues.

Just spent a frustrating few days sending 2 years of documents to a bunch of CBA morons who don't understand tax returns nor ATO company requirements. Like many on here I am retired / semi-retired. However I have a decent investment income and I channel some income through a company identity.
Let me start by saying the CBA CC application is by the app only with no person to person contact even when it turns to ship. All by text!
Firstly as with my application to HSBC *A card they didn't understand that making a super contribution approaching 6 figures to minimise tax does not mean you really have a low income below their acceptance threshold. Next they repeatedly asked me for Notice of Assessment (NOA) for my company. The ATO never issues NOAs to companies. But CBA keep insisting I must submit one. They know nothing!
Next they repeatedly asked for NOA for 2025 personal return despite me telling them the 2025 returns would not be submitted until May 2026.
Just a heads up for others in my position. Tip; don't mention additional income from your private company. Keep it simple as they are really, really dumb.

Finger cross those agents get replaced by AI very soon. Thats all they deserve. Unless... Its already AI and it sucks?

All probably sitting in a windowless room in some 3rd world nation sticking to the printed script that CBA sets.
OMFG. They are asking for a tax payment plan because they say I have a tax debt. I explain there is no tax debt until I lodge the return. The ATO has given me until 15 May to lodge the return and then they will likely tell me to pay tax owed before the end of June. So I told them that is the payment plan. I even sent them the lodgement schedule. Gotta be from the sub-continent working off a script.
Doesn't say much for CBA farming these things out to people who do not understand procedure in Australia because they do not live here.

Have you told them that you’re better than they are?
Actually, I have not.

This despite receiving the following texts; "That's what Prozac, may I know if you have the payment plan with you?"
After telling them my "payment plan" was to pay the debt when it comes due in full. Their response follows;
"Let me explain this to you. However, to proceed our verification team has requested to provide Income tax return to proceed with the further assessment.
Also, you can reach out to Australian taxation office, and they will help you with the repayments plan.
Once you get it the documents you can upload it.
"

How do you like them apples @Mr H ?
I have been very restrained.
