China Southern Delays/Cancellations

On Tuesday 4 July, CZ325 that has travelled overnight from CAN to SYD should arrive with A333 B-5922 at about 0911 hours, 46 minutes past the eight ball.

The CAN - ADL CZ663 is also tardy with A333 B-8358 suggested as arriving at 1032, 122 minutes late. CZ664, the 1000 hours from ADL back to CAN may be able to push back at around 1150 if all goes well.

CZ321 from CAN down to MEL (A333 B-5917) should arrive at 0930 hours, 50 minutes late.

The 0800 hours MEL - SZX, CZ3074 (A333 B-6112) did not take off until 1011, so it will be well above an hour late at its destination.

UPDATE: The ADL - CAN CZ664 did better than predicted above with takeoff at 1148 and expected arrival tonight at 1923 hours, 108 minutes tardy.

Much later on Tuesday 4 July, CZ301 (A333 B-5951, the 0825 hours morning CAN - SYD that did not take off until 1011 hours) is arriving at 2127, 107 minutes late.

The returning CZ302, the 2145 hours from SYD will be lucky to depart much before 2245, but hopefully should take off before curfew at 2300. However the incoming would not have wanted to have been much later in arriving.

On Monday 3, these flights were the same aircraft: last night it took from SYD at 2311 hours which is past curfew.

The overnight CAN - SYD (CZ325, A333 B-5951) is arriving on Saturday 12 at a suggested 0905 hours, 40 minutes tardy. As the returning CZ326 is not timetabled to depart until 1045 hours, it should be on time, again demonstrating how it is preferable for airlines with such flights to where possible allow more than the minimum 80 minute or so turnaround. A buffer helps.
