Business or hopefully First Class to SIN - help me pick a flight?

Am late to this thread but EK have F from BNE-SIN. The SIN - BNE flights leaves at 3.45 pm and arrives into BNE at 12.40am so great for not mucking around your body clock. You could fly out of MEL/SYD going (or BNE in J) and then use the EK flight on the way back. Just note though, between March - October this year, flight is suspended due to BNE runway closing at 12.00am. Also, you get CD on the EK flight.

Sorry, how does that differ from Melbourne?

You're right, but you don't have to wait for the bus. Since AP mentioned SYD in particular I was thinking of that scenario, but obviously applies to BNE (where transfers are just as sucky, and in fact a bit more complex since you have to exit the terminal) and MEL (but at MEL at least one can walk the 5 or so minutes from QF departures level out past (dom) security, then turn right and head over to international and again through security and immigration.

It has often perplexed me why QF/VA (and AN prior) did not manage to get airside connections working - specially at MEL, though I suspect it is a combination of feeding pax into immigration and that the respective terminals at MEL are leased, not owned.

At least with the airside BUS from AA T4->TBIT you are spared a 2nd security check even if the bus probably takes a little longer than walking the short distance between T4 and TBIT - but I digress. Of course this is possible since US has no physical outbound immigration(emmigration?) check so it is much easier. But I digress :)
