Brisbane drinks night Thursday 26 May 2011 at 5:30pm

You will notice that the Brisbanites are much more conservative and do not get up to the things that the Melbournians get up to on drinks nights.

Well, I must say the Melbournians do get up to some mischief (some of them anyway). That was quite epic - especially with the company Christmas party the next day.

Anyway, what have I done? I'm obviously a glutton for punishment:

My normal flight cut off is the 6:45am flights out of CBR to MEL and SYD. 6:10am is just uncivilised, but at least it'll get me into CBR early enough to raid the coffee shop across the road from the office a few times

Tonight we have State Of Origin to look forward to.

I will be a little late tomorrow, well taking the morning off and I still have to work to finish off and then I am off work Friday and Monday, so lots to do and so little time.

I think you can park without paying between 7:00pm and 7:00am. I can go downstairs and check if you want but it is very cold.

Same as the interstate matches in the old VFL between Victoria and South Australia and Victoria and Western Australia.

I believe the AFL had one State of Origin match recently.
