Borrowed from Flyertalk: Watch this video about Bose headphones and receive 150 AA miles (which apparently take 6 to 8 business weeks to post).

https://www.aa4miles.com/miles4bose/video.html

The video took about 5 minutes to load (for me anyway) and then 2 minutes to watch.

Thanks - 150 points (plus some spam probably) will be my first AA transation maybe :)

I'll soon have 1150 AAdvantage miles; 1000 from last year for having emailed monthly statements and 150 for this.

Even with the high earn/burn ratio I dont think that 1150 is going to get you very far ;)

It'll keep the account active for another 12 months while I concentrate on LTG. ;)

Hi there

I just did it twice for me and hubby. Thanks for the heads up!

So how do we get the 1000 email bonus?

I agreed to email statements when I signed up - those points appeared after my bose points - guess the points arent triggered until you have some activity

When I signed us up, there were 4 types of e-statements. The first one is automatically selected, you can't unselect it. Then there are 3 others which I didn't tick because I was assuming they would send me some kind of promo to get miles for signing up for them.

On a more cheerful note, we finally got the United email bonuses-2500 miles each! The referral bonus will push us over the top for the BNE-Pacific award so we are now free to concentrate on building up the AA miles and next year's Plat challenge!

I did the same - only got triggered when there was some sort of activity on my account.b

We now have a whopping 150 miles each! :D Pretty quick posting!!!

So do you think that will trigger something?

It will keep it good for 3 years with no further activity. You should see something like this

Miles with Expiration Deferred Through 08/08/09: xx_xx

Thanks for the reminder to unsubscribe (so can pick up bonuses again for future promotion to subscribe ;) ).

So how many times you tried this now? is it a quick way to lifetime platinum?

Thanks for the link :)

Pretty easy way to get 150 points.

Agree with others on how quick the posting was. About 2 days here. (And yep, I did learn something about the new Bose QC3's from the video!).

The recent 25th anniversary promo was my 2nd lot of points for subscribing to AA emails. Only a small number of points on offer each time.

Of course, you can use the short-cut:

Try going directly to the address below (without having to look at the video). Choose the 3rd answer, fill in your info and get the 150 miles credited (yes, it does seem to post within 24 to 48 hours)

https://www.aa4miles.com/miles4bose/question.jsp

Seems that 6 AA members (5 of them family) all earned easy points.
