Credit Card Offers Bankwest Qantas Platinum: 50,000 bonus Qantas Points

Sorry for bumping an old thread but it was the most recent one I could find for this card (not the world one).

Just wanted to ask if it was normal for Bankwest to withhold transferring any Qantas points accrued within a statement month until some designated point in the near future? eg when the bonus points criteria is met? Also doesn't seem like it needs to be manually done like non-denominational reward point systems.

Just used to other banks crediting any QFF points at the end of each statement period.

It comes on an arbitrary day of the month in my experience, around the 8th, for whatever you've earned to that date. It gets a bit confusing due to being Async with the statement period
