From cricinfo:

Paine and Kohli exchange some words at the non-strikers. Chris Gaffaney has held things up telling them to "play the game".

Good to see the umpire get involved. There's sportsmanship an sledging. I have never liked the latter.

Meanwhile over the ditch, Latham continues his good batting an now 262 n.o. Cant wait to see the innings on Fox Sport at some stage. Some of the statisticians were telling him to get out on 229, as that is the lowest that remains unscored by a batsman - better go and check out that little nugget

Makes the decision to not play one of the opening Tests at The Gabba a losing proposition.

BCCI wouldn't let them.

4/169 - trying to play slowly but consistently, lest there not be a 5th day...

I think more the bowling has been pretty good so they've been avoiding getting out rather than chasing quick runs (with tons of time left).

BCCI also aren't helpful in bringing on umpires in their own country - name the last good Test umpire from there. They are being pandered to by the rest of the world - but they also have the highest incidence of betting on (and attempts to fix) matches

Latham has carried his bat in the NZ innings - 264 n.o. - some lusty blows late as he was running out of partners.

Meanwhile the Aussies has crawled along to 4/190 at lunch. Slow and steady hopefully will win this match. 70 run partnership augers well for the pair.

I wanted to like the bit about Latham but dislike the bit about the Australian Crawl

Fair enough comment. 58 runs in a session isn’t setting the batting world on fire, so was expressed as I saw it.

New ball is due in 2 overs and I think they’ll take it straight away. Then the fireworks should start. Buckle in for some chin music

Arrghhh...I tried to warn them...

Mohammed Shami to Paine, OUT, vicious short ball, fending to the slips! And there are plenty of words in the middle. A well-directed short ball, extra bounce from back of a length, at Paine's chest, he couldn't get out of the way, the ball balloons off the gloves and is taken by Kohli. It's a bit heated in the middle
TD Paine c Kohli b Mohammed Shami 37 (116b 4x4 0x6) SR: 31.89

Aaron Finch returning to the middle...an opener for the new ball! Two slips, gully and a deep short leg

and immediately

Mohammed Shami to Finch, OUT, gloved down the leg side! It's all happening...Finch gets the expected shorter delivery straightaway, angling down the leg side, Finch aims to work it away, takes the glove through to Pant
AJ Finch c †Pant b Mohammed Shami 25 (31b 5x4 0x6) SR: 80.64

Mohammed Shami on a hat-trick when he next bowls

Only hope we can emulate the Indian bowlers when it's our turn...

Mohammed Shami to Khawaja, OUT, edged, and taken, another flying delivery! Shami on fire in Perth. Not much Khawaja could have done about that. It's leapt from short of a length, climbed viciously and feathers the gloves to Pant
UT Khawaja c †Pant b Mohammed Shami 72 (213b 5x4 0x6) SR: 33.80

7/198....thankfully the wide on the ball before meant no hat trick.

Crumbling....I don't know if I can watch any more

Bumrah to coughmins, OUT, and that one almost goes along the deck! No chance for coughmins, good luck anyone batting out there at the moment. It's straight, back of a length, barely gets off the surface and smashes into middle stump. All coughmins can do is think he'll have ball in hand soon
PJ coughmins b Bumrah 1 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR: 16.66

Well, no doubt this Test will be over in under 4 days.

Watch the replay of it, ridiculous.

India have about a 5-10% chance of getting these runs, if they do, then it will be one of the best ever performances from an Indian batting line-up.

Or are you at the stadium?

I'm hoping this remains;

And I bet the majority of the wicket's were acting up no where near as much as this one is.

250 target, if India win then they definitely deserve the number 1 team ranking as it will be one of the best performances ever from an Indian line-up.

Now 9/207

Mohammed Shami to Lyon, OUT, carved to deep point It's six for Shami...short of a length, angling back in at Lyon, cramps him for room as he tries to go through the off side and it's a simple catch
NM Lyon c Vihari b Mohammed Shami 5 (10b 1x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

i don't think the bowlers want to hang around - but every run is gold. They want to give back ;)
