ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

QCU is better than 0.5 points per dollar......actually double that.
Westpac Platinum Kris Flyer has no more cards being issued and is Westpac's best card for our use.
WOW does pay 0.5 points per dollar after the first $2500 and it is uncapped.
The QCU application has progressed...they're stipulating that it's for personal expenses only...anyone been questioned about ATO payments?

Yes I had a big credit cardable freight bill that would not be for QCU. I actually use it for shopping at smaller stores for personal stuff as well as ......

I have ANZ Black Qantas FF card. Any issues using this for ATO spend? I'd prefer to use the AMEX to maximize points. Cheers

I last used my ANZ Black Qantas FF card for an ATO payment on 24 July 2015, and points came through OK. I used Visa but do not see any reason why Amex would not work as well. Hope this helps.

Yes ANZ Black Amex should work ok. I paid that card to zero yesterday so I will soon see if Mrscove's new card works sweetly with ATO.

Worked on the August BAS and I put $148k on one where the $200k capping cleared in August. Nice one but the points limit is a problem. The rest went to a couple of other 0.42% favourites and some for Suites rides.

Nice work cove. I guess the 1.45% credit card fee is worth it when you are earning so many points?

burmans I even used overseas cards before the $AUD conked out. Thank you Citi USA as there are no foreign exchange fees on those cards.
I booked some Suites rides and some business class runs to keep the points/miles from overflowing this month.

We have just been serial testers of the credit card system. Quite a few have fallen by the wayside for the ATO but when that happens you look for others.

Has anyone in QLD ever tried to pay their property Transfer/Stamp Duty via the OSR BPOINT payment system and earned points?

Visa and Mastercard only, with a 0.4% surcharge.

Unfortunately, I've already exhausted my Woolies $2.5K 1 pt per $ limit this month, and so it'll have to be the Westpac Earth Black MC for 0.625 pts per dollar. Better than no points I guess -- if the points do get paid. Anyone know?

Worked for me in Jan / Feb 2015, kevrosmith. We paid OSR Qld stamp duty on our new house, and reaped 1.33ppd (cit1b@nk prest).
