Virgin do have a similar 24 hour cancellation policy. Can be found in the Guest Charter:
Cancelling without penalty

If you book a fare 7 days or more prior to your flight’s scheduled departure time, you may cancel your booking without penalty within 24 hours of making it, or hold a reservation at the quoted fare for 24 hours without payment. You can arrange this by calling our Guest Contact Centre.
Edit: just saw the "US only" bit... but from experience with the call centre, there is 24 hour policy for other bookings too.

AFAIK Nor does it apply to CR rewards
DID a wrong booking date in 2024. Ouch change fees
Depending on timing, you may be better off cancelling and rebooking. The change thing only goes to midinght same day. Cancellation is 24 hours. And of course, there are the other gotchas around more than 30 days etc
