April 1 - Anyone's status drop down yet

I think I triggered my Velocity offer in about June or July last year. Enjoyed the Diamond benefits on my trip last year at about 5 properties and happy to still be Diamond status as of today, with another o/s trip pending.

Requested a card several times, but not forthcoming apparently. It's not required, except for the bling value :)

HH were quick to mail my new Blue card with it arriving on 2 April. I originally had Gold obtained through the Russian credit card link.

In four weeks time I have 7 European Hilton nights coming up...needless to say I'm searching the web for a nice little Gild offer.

Another of my friends dropped Diamond to Silver, arriving the same day in Mail.

I assume they must have them ready to mail ex-Sydney on 31 March.

I guess for future reference, it could be noted that it appears the BIB requals had their new cards sent out a number of weeks ago and the ones that have been downgraded seem to have been held back until the end of March.

I thought my Russian Visa card might have expired as well but I am still showing Gold

Not sure if this helps nore still works ... Silver better than nothing I guess. More points, free wifi and water plus late check-out. And then fast track to Gold built in.

Done, I drive past there office in Brisbane.

I tried a few other random names to see if I could fluke a Gold deal:

?lp=qantas
?lp=deloittes
?lp=ibm
?lp=microsoft
?lp=infosys

I'm happy with Silver and should be Gold again soon. :)

It's definitely from January 1st of year X until March 31st of year X+2.
You must reach the re-qualification level from 1st Jan until Dec 31st Year X+1 or you will drop to the level earned in Year X+1 at end of March in X+2.

Are you confident of this, Princess Fiona?

If I activate my HHonors Diamond courtesy of VA now, will that take me through until 3/2017? Or do I need to wait until at least 1 April?

Very confident, you will be fine until 3/2017.
How long it takes Velocity and/or HHonors to process I'm not so confident of that !

Okey dokey. I'll push the button. I'm at a Hampton in 28 days (no use there anyway, given I'm Gold from BIB) but a DoubleTree a few days after that. Hopefully Hilton can sort it within a month.
