It is Queensland. SWMBO refused to believe that I didn't wear shoes to school in Queensland until I forced to in Year eight because of tech classes, until I showed her some class photos with at least half a dozen bare feet.

Now where is that definition of a bogan thread?.......:p:p

Yes, but that was the '20s Medhead :D ;) Things have moved along a bit in QLD since then!

Turns out he is a WP, and wore thongs onto the plane. Obviously felt comfortable enough in the lounge not having to wear any footwear.

Or he felt it necessary to dress up for the flight...

Reminds me of a QF WP on QF16 in Oct in the AA Flounge at T4. He and his partner each were in the showers for over 30 mins. I'd been top of the list for a shower from 10-10:30pm, and ended up going over to the AC to get a shower before boarding.
I did feel a little smug as they boarded and headed for Y as I sat in my Y+ seat. ;) bwahahahahaha.

All joking aside, bare feet never qualified as 'smart casual'. Not to mention the safety aspects. If you want to dress like you're going to the beach, please don't come into the QP.

The "W" in "WP" coming to the fore.

Despite the hot, buff athlete sitting next to me on my last sector from MEL-SYD last week, the moment he took off his thongs and placed his feet up on the bulkhead, I lost all interest.

I just realised, to be fair, it could have been the female who was a WP. I don't know which of them was WP. But they both needed long showers. At least 10mns longer than I need!
