Apple drops iPad pricing

My big concern is how will I justify iPad 4 as there are only three potential users in the house...

We've gone from having nothing Apple a couple of years ago, to 1*3GS, 2*4G, 2*iPad 1, 1*Mac Mini, 1*Macbook Pro, 1*Macbook Air (with another to come in a week or so), 2*iMacs, 6*Airport Express, 6*Apple TV (no I don't have that many TVs)....and I'm waiting with great interest for the iPad 3. Obviously multiple users in the family, but the stuff just trickles down when replaced....

The iPad would have to be one of the great ideas. Now, if Airbus would just enter this century and put their manuals and performance data onto it, all would be good. The Jeppesen chart application is so far ahead of what AB offer that I'm tempted to actually pay for it myself.....

With the GST back on your next trip and the remainder as a tax deduction, it's a no brainer

Not for crew. It's amazing how many countries specifically exclude crew from the various tax refunds...

I really, really, hate hotels that lock their TVs into 'hotel' mode. Invariably, this also means they are locked to the wrong aspect ratio (for some reason they think that people hate black bars on the side, but love short, fat, images). Thankfully, I only regularly stay at a couple of places now, and have managed to acquire a couple of remotes with the codes to return the TVs to normal....at which point an Apple TV, and Airport Express, let me watch what I want.

Think we (inc Mrs Lime) need to get analysed, not buying new iPad3 but I know we will!, already have iPad 2 and 2 x 27" iMacs plus 2 iPhones, Apple mad here, at least with a new iPad3 I'd have my own

I used to be able to push the iPad through the tv at Hilton on the park in Mel but that isn't working now

Looks like stocks of the ipad2 are drying up, grabbed the second last one they had at the local BigW today and put it on layby.

I agree in concept, but 25MB RAW camera files make it impractical most of the time.

I guess what you really mean is that lack of connection speed makes it impractical, and/or lack of willingness to pay for enough online storage.
