Careful you don’t stray into politics. 😋
Yes, I was just reading something on another thread about political comments are now forbidden on AFF, unless travel-related:

I know he is not a footballer, but do wonder if he got the standard quarantine or a glitzy version

You know, when the Finals players are prohibited from doing much at all other than play football and eat, sleep and train in their cocoon, and that includes Eddie's club, Collingwood, an appropriate gesture for him is to simply suck it up princess and do likewise. Show a bit of leadership. I expect he realises he can't mingle with his cocoon now.

He made it very clear on the radio this morning that he is not part of the Collywobble bubble. And therefore can not interact with anyone who is. Part of why he isn't in a bubble is that he's going be to filming Hot Seat in Brisbane for the next 4 weeks

Sure. But maybe a leadership thing to not go out on the town given he is President while the players are locked up. Walk the talk kind of thing.

Vinomofo is the best wine deals site on the planet. Good wines, real people and epic deals, without all the bowties and bs.

If you mean the AFL Hub. He is not in the AFL Hub nor part of the Collingwood bubble. So hub rules do not apply to him, though will now exclude him where they apply to Collingwood players and staff.

That visit was after he had left quarantine.

he was out conducting "research" on how to get Victorian restaurants and nightclubs open in a COVID safe manner
oh tell me he didn't say that! Who do you barrack for TV? If Power win tonight then it's off to Perth and Quarantine for the Collingwood team. GO POWER! 😂

A little more eloquently than I framed it, but that's what he said.

I'm a Saints man so undecided whether I'd rather they play the Dogs or Pies in 2 weeks

But if Collingwood win the Lions are the minor premiers so I think for the first time ever I am hoping Collingwood win.

Me too ;) I prefer the Dogs.

Back on Eddie. I am not a fan of him nor the Pies. But as he completed quarantine, and is not part of a bubble then like any citizen he should be free to go out.

Eddie and son, dancing at strip club on Gold Coast. Not a good look during COVID or anytime else? YMMV.

Ok. I'm angry Collingwood just kicked a goal!

It is interesting that WA requires a week's quarantine for the arrival team next week.
If the opponent flies out tomorrow, then it’s might be 1+ week of active quarantine, as AFL finals have a bye, no?

Back to getting angry at footballers...
