ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership Discussion

"I can confirm your reservation does include breakfast for both mornings at a reduced rate of $30 per breakfast."
That does not even compute when using a Stay Plus at a breakfast inclusive rate unless they are averaging over two mornings. At worst one day should be complimentary.
Hi everyone, just for reference further clarification from Sofitel no free stay night does not include breakfast despite what they said first. 😅
Sadly, after revisiting the terms and reading what is actually there rather than what I thought I had seen, my advice would be to expect the worst.

That way you can be surprised if the worst does not happen.

One mitigation for "the worst" is there would be a 30% discount with the Plus membership.

On a tangent (not Stay+ related), what do peeps do - book b'fast inclusive rates (and maybe get 15% of the total night b'fast included rate or pay on the day with 30% discount? (Assuming you're not book during some heavily discounted promo / RHR etc). I haven't checked myself but pretty sure they don't provide a greater discount to B'fast inclusive rates as A+?

I know there's probably a lot of variables involved, including property to property implementations eg some hotels will discount breakfast if booked up front instead of their "rack rate" sign posted somewhere.

Regulars to a specific property will probably know how much b'fast is and quickly decide what's best value. But any general guidance / experience?

My recent experience - booked b&b rate $30 pp. Add on rate as part of booking (ie selected no breakfast but can have it as add on $40pp when booking). Normal advertised rate I've been told $52 -30% off = $36.40. so I went with the b&b rate. But I think it may vary between properties though.

So I do dummy bookings to see what combo gives me best value and check advertised or see what others have reported before.

Possibly a dumb question, but for those who've signed up for the complimentary ALL+ Explorer membership via AMEX Platinum... when you enrol it asks for you exiting membership number. Did you need to supply your ALL+ Member Number, or your ALL+ Explorer Member Number (which seem to be different)?

Hi,

I am currently in a battle with Accor regarding the Accor+ signup offer of the bonus 2000 points - I signed up via the Facebook Add, and nowhere on any of the pages does it talk about the sign-up points being available for new members. As my membership was 3 days old, they are not willing to offer the points. I have screens shots of everything to show at no point of the sign up it says excludes past members. I have tried to do it via the chat, and they refuse to even investigate it - but I know it’s unfair and misleading in all ways. Does anything have a contact for Accor+ who is more of a English speaking and might be able to review the case. I would accept the rules if it was listed that way, but at no time in the sign-up process was this covered in the terms or even refer to this.

Any helps would be appreciated.

M

This is a screenshot of an email I received a few days ago, the 2000 bonus is clearly stated as a rejoin bonus (which I'm considering if combinable with the 10000 qbr). Maybe targeted and only registers through the email link.

Accor ALL - strange people.. I am a low level, irregular user of their hotels but recently had a few stays totalling 7 nights. Big deal..
I had to chase up confirmation for one of those stays. So I was a bit surprised, while waiting for that stay to credit, to get an email from ALL saying 'Great News you've reached Gold Status' (and with with a review date of Aug 27..)

My acct online still shows only those 7 nights in the current Cal year, which is not even enough for silver... Perhaps they're a lot smarter, and hv realized how pathetically grateful I will henceforth be to their brand/s?

If you have an Accor+ account (which is the thread you're in), you get Gold by default from the 30 bonus nights they credit. It's yours with zero nights.
