That does not even compute when using a Stay Plus at a breakfast inclusive rate unless they are averaging over two mornings. At worst one day should be complimentary."I can confirm your reservation does include breakfast for both mornings at a reduced rate of $30 per breakfast."
Sadly, after revisiting the terms and reading what is actually there rather than what I thought I had seen, my advice would be to expect the worst.Hi everyone, just for reference further clarification from Sofitel no free stay night does not include breakfast despite what they said first.![]()
Hasn't happened to me. I don't think that is right to deny platinum a breakfast. There have been cases of plats denied breakie on stay plus nights

On a tangent (not Stay+ related), what do peeps do - book b'fast inclusive rates (and maybe get 15% of the total night b'fast included rate or pay on the day with 30% discount? (Assuming you're not book during some heavily discounted promo / RHR etc). I haven't checked myself but pretty sure they don't provide a greater discount to B'fast inclusive rates as A+?One mitigation for "the worst" is there would be a 30% discount with the Plus membership.
My recent experience - booked b&b rate $30 pp. Add on rate as part of booking (ie selected no breakfast but can have it as add on $40pp when booking). Normal advertised rate I've been told $52 -30% off = $36.40. so I went with the b&b rate. But I think it may vary between properties though. On a tangent (not Stay+ related), what do peeps do - book b'fast inclusive rates (and maybe get 15% of the total night b'fast included rate or pay on the day with 30% discount? I know there's probably a lot of variables involved, including property to property implementations eg some hotels will discount breakfast if booked up front instead of their "rack rate" sign posted somewhere.
Regulars to a specific property will probably know how much b'fast is and quickly decide what's best value. But any general guidance / experience?
