I was watching the documentary, Airport, on Foxtel last night. It seems to be centered around EasyJet based at Luton in the UK. One of the sub-stories last night featured a young guy from Perth named Luke. He had based himself at Luton and did 5 return trips out of Luton on EasyJet in 5 days. He was an avid frequent flyer and had a log book that he completed for each flight - aircraft rego #'s, take off time, top of descent, landing time etc. etc. I suspect that the show was recorded pre 9/11 as he asked if he could speak to the Captain on the flight deck and was allowed to do so. The shot of the coughpit door showed no signs of any security what so-ever. As the show closed, the narrator commented that Luke had completed another 50 sectors elsewhere in the world by the time the show was (originally) aired.
My question is this. He sounds like the sort of person who would frequent this web-site. Does anyone know him? How much travel does he do a year? Are you lurking out there somewhere Luke?
