Yes, in a dual engine failure RAT are all parameters still measured or measurable?
Wouldn’t be much point in having its own power supply, if no data was coming in, though perhaps that’s telling in itself. If all of the buses are dead, in an electric jet, then that’s about it. But, the fact that we see the aircraft remaining stable in roll, and making some pitch changes, means that there was at least some flight control available, which implies some electricity. So, from the recorder point of view, it would have continued recording, though there might be a break of a few seconds during the power changes. It would be terrible if we had two major crashes in a row with no recorder data….

Wonder why it took 6 days to get them from recovery to the lab.....
I did get the feeling that this investigation seems to be running on the Indian version of Egyptian Time...

Its probably doing the heads in of the NTSB guys there!

I was thinking along those lines. There may be five levels of bureaucracy between the investigators and the public.
I just remembered that the English taught not only Egypt about bureaucracy but would have also taught India too...

I just hoped with the likes of Campbell Wilson at the helm, the process would be somewhat less chaotic. His a prominent figure from the West, I can’t imagine all the normal nonsense that we would probably expect from the place would sit well with him.

He must have a high degree of tolerance just to be there I think - if it is anything like the bureaucracy in Egypt then make that a very high degree of tolerance...

Just look at the footage of the removal of the debris, on local trucks and the tail got stuck in a tree en route. They literally just pushed it out of the building when trying to get it out also.
Without a doubt that chaos extends to all parts of the investigation.

He probably got one of the hardest jobs in Aviation and it’s just got harder.

I guess with him being from the airline then the investigators have to keep him at arms length away from the investigation unless required. But he is probably ringing the relevant minister fairly frequently asking WTF is going on?
