Don’t we just wait for the episode of that TV show, “Air Crash Investigations” to come out…?

Because it will be wrong, no matter how long we wait.Don’t we just wait for the episode of that TV show, “Air Crash Investigations” to come out…?![]()
To what extent does "all" become "some" in a dual engine failure where a RAT is deployed? At least with Air India the CVR and FDR should have all of the data until the point of impact...
Read the article I referenced in #351.To what extent does "all" become "some" in a dual engine failure where a RAT is deployed?
Yes, in a dual engine failure RAT are all parameters still measured or measurable?Read the article I referenced in #351.
Wouldn’t be much point in having its own power supply, if no data was coming in, though perhaps that’s telling in itself. If all of the buses are dead, in an electric jet, then that’s about it. But, the fact that we see the aircraft remaining stable in roll, and making some pitch changes, means that there was at least some flight control available, which implies some electricity. So, from the recorder point of view, it would have continued recording, though there might be a break of a few seconds during the power changes. It would be terrible if we had two major crashes in a row with no recorder data….Yes, in a dual engine failure RAT are all parameters still measured or measurable?
Don't let the fear of misinformation get in the way of a good click and like.Because it will be wrong, no matter how long we wait.
I did get the feeling that this investigation seems to be running on the Indian version of Egyptian Time...Wonder why it took 6 days to get them from recovery to the lab.....

Lucky the USA NTSB team got to FLY in and not resort to the Slow Boat…I did get the feeling that this investigation seems to be running on the Indian version of Egyptian Time...
Its probably doing the heads in of the NTSB guys there!

I suspect some people in very high places are trying to control the info flow…..I did get the feeling that this investigation seems to be running on the Indian version of Egyptian Time...

I was thinking along those lines. There may be five levels of bureaucracy between the investigators and the public.I did get the feeling that this investigation seems to be running on the Indian version of Egyptian Time...
I just remembered that the English taught not only Egypt about bureaucracy but would have also taught India too...I was thinking along those lines. There may be five levels of bureaucracy between the investigators and the public.
He must have a high degree of tolerance just to be there I think - if it is anything like the bureaucracy in Egypt then make that a very high degree of tolerance...I just hoped with the likes of Campbell Wilson at the helm, the process would be somewhat less chaotic. His a prominent figure from the West, I can’t imagine all the normal nonsense that we would probably expect from the place would sit well with him.
I guess with him being from the airline then the investigators have to keep him at arms length away from the investigation unless required. But he is probably ringing the relevant minister fairly frequently asking WTF is going on?I just hoped with the likes of Campbell Wilson at the helm, the process would be somewhat less chaotic.
