Just had my nice warm shower, unpacked my suitcase and unwrapped all the shopping. The other half is fast asleep.

An entire weekend of friendship, food (though at times the proximity to shellfish was worrying ), drinks, nice coughtails, dancing badly to 80s music, shopping, lots of walking (!) and scandal (*cough* ;)). Thanks everyone for some terrific company! Thanks especially to the organisers for making sure that everything went smoothly, and to Mr and Mrs munitalP who were kind enough to give both of us a lift to the airport. We had a wonderful time catching up with old friends as well as matching new faces to their handles.

Can't wait for AFF4 in Brisbane already!!! Or AFF 3b in Bali or Honkers? ;)

I had a great weekend. My parents were very happy to see that I didn't get kidnapped by an axe murderer.

Karen

Wait till midnight tonight :)

But on a more serious note, thank everyone for a fantastic weekend! Although I started it off v. tired I had a great time and made the most of festivities! Bring on AFF#4!

Ahh, what a great weekend away - neither my amex nor my liver are prepared to forgive me just yet.. ;)

Highlights for me were the FLounge run and the post-dinner drinkening on the Saturday :) Entertaining thinking that I consumed twice the JQ airfare in champagne, assuming retail prices

Would definitely be up for AFF3b in HKG!

Nice to meet a few of you at Friday night drinks. Apologies I couldn't make dinner or the rest of the weekend, but it sounds like you guys had an awesome time. :) I ended up enjoying the weather in Melbourne (I bet that's something you don't hear too often! ;)).

QF009/notzac - Good chatting to you guys. Did you end up making it to ivy?

Cheers,
- Febs.

Hey all... Great to meet some of you guys at the tarmac tour Saturday.. Weather was perfect for it.. Found out alot of new things..

If anyone is in Sydney FLounge International Tuesday morning 8-1130, see you there !!! Off to China!!

Sorry I couldnt make drinks or dinner.. It was wtolmie's wedding anniversary weekend..

I am glad to see that all had a great time. I am still not happy that we could not get there but anyway.

Thanks again to the organisers Munitalp and Oz Mark for all the effort in organising the DO. :D ;)

I see from the posts that there is discussion about a #3A event somewhere and a #4 event in Brisbane. Have any approximate, or firm dates been set for these :?:

From what I heard, it was more dancing to bad 80's music than badly dancing to 80's music, considering the venue ;)

Was a great night. Sorry I couldn't hang around longer. I'll be in BNE in Feb for the full shebang, so i'm looking forward to that!

Sorry I left Helm bar a lil too early - totally forgot about the mag. But thanks! :D

Nup didn't make it to Ivy. And my Prada sneakers were considered too low rent for the door cough at Hemmesphere. :( Oh well, next time!

He was .. considering the venue, I think it a fair statement ;)

Hehehehe. But 80s' trash can be fun! After a suitable amount of alcohol intake that is... The place reminds me of Pop Party @ Trash Palace in London, except that it's 90s' trash rather than 80s' there.

Oh, I thought he was referring to somewhere on Oxford St. ;)

As notzac said, I was. Even I didn't frequent there when I lived in SYD (well there was one time, but that's how I know what it's like...). Oh the stories I know about that venue... "if the walls could talk' ;)

Oh it was! And their idea of 30ml. of gin works very well for me indeed.. :D
And 90's trash? That sounds awesome...

Sounds like a certain night we had up at a certain BNE venue last year. "Are you boys right?" 'yes we're waiting for that barman there *points*'

Ahhh good memories:)

#3A is something you'd have to talk to QF009 about, as for #4, I'd expect that to be in about a year. Brisbane members will discuss at the next BNE Drinks night though, and try get the ball rolling on planning it.

I'll be in BNE in Feb for the full shebang, so i'm looking forward to that!

You mean for the AGM?

There were some interesting sights, sounds and smells for sure...
