I noticed on the AA website they are currently renovating the Admirals Club/ Flagship lounge at JFK (concourse B). It indicates that it is due to reopen in spring 17, I was wondering if anyone has more information on an approximate opening date.

I don't have any info on the opening date but the temporary is very good. In fact, by AA standards, it's downright awesome.

I am going to JFK in September. Can Qantas club members access the Admirals club if flying AA domestic?

I do not think you can get in on QP membership alone but it may depend on what flights you are on and OW status. I was only asking as I am flying on an eligible transcontinental in J and a OWE. I will get lounge access just depends if I get to try the new one or temporary. I will find out in 6 weeks.

Agree with Danger, the current Flagship Lounge in JFK Concourse B is brilliant. They are still doing some work in the dining area, however you can hardly fault them for that. A mile better than the LAX Flagship lounge.

Was there a couple of days ago. Flagship lounge (currently called "International First Lounge") well and truly functional; 'Fine Dining' quoted to open "sometime next month".

I should have come back to the thread a couple of weeks back as I was there in mid Apr. Agree this lounge was most likely the best AA we used in the US. We spent a couple hours in the corner by the window in the vicinity of your where your fist photo was taken. MrsM helped herself to a good serve of Bolli then slept it off on the way to SFO.
