That plus the base fare would probably be more than just paying for J outright.
I recently had an bidnow upgrade succeed on BNE-MEL for ~$200..
I agree. The offer email went straight into trash.

Got an offer for MEL-BNE, same as poster above with offer of $377. Offer sent about 3 weeks out.

So both offers and acceptances are part of the thread.
Poorly phrased on my part.
It was an offer to buy a confirmed upgrade for $377, which I declined.
