Access to Qantas DOM J Lounge

I am traveling from MEL domestically next month J on a flight with a colleague who is in Economy.

With the J Lounge, can I guest a non-J flyer? Or is the J lounge access with a boarding pass with no guests?

I am also Qantas Gold if that makes any difference. The non-J flyer has no elite status.

In this instance, Gold will only get you into the QC and not the DOM J lounge.

J pax without status still get to bring in one guest into the DOM J lounge who does not need to be travelling.
